A faint smile crosses the wind mages face. “Maybe one day I’ll believe it, but not until I feel I’ve done a great enough job protecting others.” She says, sticking her tongue out playfully. Janna never felt like she did enough for others, something she was struggling to change.

The Ionian sunset was beautiful, the darkening sun lowering over the Cherry Blossom trees which scattered the countryside of the Country. The Ronin had invited the Mage here after year of them seeing each other.

He thought it fitting, they come back to where they had met, back then he was just a Wanderer, a Samurai with no Master, at the time he was drunk kicked out of the last bar he was in for starting a brawl. In the fight he was stabbed, nothing major hit, he would have survived.

The sight of the Wind Mage had brought dread to his eyes, the opposite of what it did now, now he was hopeful, for the first time since the war he was happy.

Caught in a small daydream, Yasuo snapped back to reality at the Mage’s words, before processing them and a slight color shooting to his cheeks.

“I…” He stammered, “I don’t see how you see that as the case, Janna. If anything, my dear, it is I who doesn’t deserve you.” He said with a smile, turning to look at the Mage.

Her blonde hair was shining in the dying sun, light shadows cast on her cheeks. He let out a content sigh before laying down on his back reaching out his hand to her, as the stars began to make their way into his view.

The blonde grabbed his hand, lying next to him,enjoying the warmth that came from his body. In the past year this man had become her everything, she had seen to it that he was always properly cared for, and in time, had fallen very deeply in love with him. Sometimes though, she felt like her efforts were not enough. She constantly feared she wasn't there for him enough.

“Oh don’t be silly, you absolutely deserve me.” She chuckled, adjusting herself to where her head lay on the mans chest. She could faintly hear his heartbeat, a slight smile crossing her face. 

“You know, I always will love coming here. Not only is it beautiful, but it reminds me of someone special!” She giggled, squirming to kiss The Ronins cheek playfully.

She murmured, shuffling shyly out of his way, trying to fight back the tears that threatened to overcome her.
