like birds, friends of a feather, flock together. i can always count on my best friend erika, to collaborate with me on artistic ideas. 

erika is a die hard bird lover and i mentioned a while ago on doing a photo shoot involving birds somehow…since freckle and kramer (her pet cockatiels) no longer live with her, we decided to use some origami birds as a prop. i think they came out quite nice. 

along the way, we threw in a few other ideas too…and as a die hard “fashionista” as well, she did a little bit of modeling with some pretty amazing retro clothes she had. 

this was such a fun shoot and a fun day…and without great friendship like hers, these pics would’ve never happened.

I just had surgery for the first time (note: I lived, was NOT brave about it, bc NEVER had it before, and I did this bit about it which helped me to be brave cuz comedy fixes EVERYTHING - at Flappers July 13, 2016). Enjoy bc i can’t imagine doing the bit again. So… free comedy!  If you are a marvel fan and know that I’m ALSO going thru my middle aged lady time (reference: Terrigen Mists) you may want the tshirt.
