giving and receiving gifts-- it wasn’t exactly her strongest trait. it’s a personal thing, with a lot of meaning to it. at least in her mind it was. she wasn’t too sure what to exactly get for the gang. something bought didn’t feel like enough for them. they deserved so much more than some hastily bought chocolates. handmade might have done a little better-- if she could make them that was. time ran too thin before the day finally came up. she had her plans in the works.

afterglow wasn’t a love song band, but love didn’t need to come across as others made it out to be. the words meant more than any mushy and gushy slow music. but pulled from her focus, the pen fell from the paper, the book shutting before moca made a grab for it. 

the gifts were one thing. and it did make her fluster, both easy and difficult to embarrass, moca knew the way to get her. it wasn’t the chocolates. it wasn’t the picks. it was her smug cheekiness, moseying in to kiss her cheek.
