I gave the memorial flyer a look today after my mom sent it to me and the constant flow of tears and numbness are back...

My mom is gonna show me the viewing through video chat, and having a set date to see my aunt one last time... I can't comprehend not being able to see her smile or hear laugh alongside my other aunties ever again. They all had this thunderous sort of laugh when they'd play their card games together... It's all going to feel more real in a few more days and I'm so scared 😭

I really miss her ham... It was one of my favorite things to eat at family parties. She knew that and sent me and my sister one in a package the other year. I didn't think that'd be my last one... I remember helping her prepare a bunch when I still lived in Cali. I wish I had the recipe.

And I didn't even get to say good bye and that I love her. That hurts more than anything else. I'm just not gonna okay for a while...
