Years back I commented about the technical stagnancy of ladies figure skating... in a span of four years we've seen the unthinkable.

But, at what costs?

I think Eteri Tutberidze's days are numbered. Eventually, we'll get through this messy period of figure skating.

I suppose we can expect some drastic changes to this sport.

Worlds 2021: Ladies SP

Hello people! Hope you are all well considering all that's going on. 

Thought about this community since worlds is back. 

So here’s me spewing my thoughts on the ladies SP. 

Trusova: Man, I feel for the girl. I really want it for her, hopefully she’ll do better in the free. Overall, I see a Mao type journey for her.

Liza: Forget about her skating skills for a moment. This WOMAN needs her flowers right now. She has managed to get on the world team despite the Russia androids behind her. I loved her in the press conference lol. If she’s clean she might do stay on the podium... we’ll see. 

Anna: I think she’s already won. It’s gonna take a massive mess up for her to not win and after seeing her today, I don’t think it’s possible. Her programme was nice enough. She’s lyrical and has some great qualities, but it’s really the Sambo70 style that’s the issue. It’s just cluttered, technically questionable and not very memorable.

Rika: Enjoyed the performance, but she’s really going to need to rotate those jumps to stay in 2nd. 

Yelin Kim = pretty

Karen Chen = Love it

Braddie = Decent, loved the costume.

Satoko = Broke my heart

Mae = Get well soon
