ahhh t'is been a long time since I have posted anything
Afterall, tumblr did fall out of my favour. I spend almost no time on it anymore. Despite the fact that I don't actually have that much to do, life has become more and more busy. Out of school, and working a full time job is a big change of pace. While I do enjoy making money, I do miss the amount of free time that I used to have when I was a student (given my excellent track record of <10% class attendence!). The commute takes a big toll eating at least 2 hours of my day if not 3. That leaves me with only 22 hours left to allocate.
On an average day, I'll assume it is fair to say I have 1 activity per weeknight. Let it be an eventful full day (so I don't look so bad here ! :P). I wake up at 630, and I'm out the door by 640 to catch the bus to meet up with a friend at her work place. I'll transfer onto the subway and get to the McD's at around 740ish and I'll have breakfast til say 830 before heading off to work. I'll get into the office by 9 and from there its work work work all the way til say 530. I leave and go home and get back for dinner around 7. At 8, its weekly badminton night with my Dad and that'll push me to 1030. I get home game til say 12 then get ready for bed. In between there somewhere I'll try to get my devotion done. In between my phone games and activities it seems that sometimes I've completely left out my time for God.
Although in the past I have avoided blogging about this kind of thing but I had a dinner today with my family and my cousin asked me "how's your spiritual life been?". To be honest, I didn't know how to answer. My walk has been quite a drag literally. I remember this magnet that always hung on the fridge. It bore the words, "Let go and let God". To this day, I find it hard to do that. I put my own interests first and oftentimes it is just impossible for me to let go of these worries. O will I ever find someone for me? How do I let go of all these unanswered feelings? O, how I just wish life was simple again.
My any means I am not going through any "hard times". At least not any harder than they have ever been. Just that, perhaps, maybe these desires would be answered and if they won't be answered please just take them away.
In other news, I am writing a puzzle and dragons tool. It should calculate your damage with regards to your team and board. It is coming along well and its the first project where I've progressed enough to be a little proud haha!
