        The young male had experienced drastic changes in his life after leaving South Korea. He left the country,  not knowing when or if he would be able to see his friends anytime soon. Months passed by and social media was the only way for him to keep in contact with the ones he held dear even across the sea. Yerin, a friend who chose to support him despite all the hatred he received, was one of them—one of those who still wanted to stick with him. She knew the risks though, befriending celebrities like him wasn’t always so easy and often came with consequences, some of which she had already faced. Jealous fans, what could be more pleasant? They were rare nowadays as most of his fans knew how to behave and respected him way too much to intrude his or his friends’ private life, but there was always someone who wasn’t aware of the boundaries.

        WHEN IT CAME to friendships she’s formed, Yerin never deemed them in any specific categories. Whether they were idol friends or school friends or people she’s met through work, she treated them as equals. Sure she’d pull a few jokes here and there about them sneaking her into concerts or introducing her to other well-known celebrities, but they were always meant to be taken as jokes ( since when was she ever serious? ). Never has Yerin befriend someone for their social status. And if they happened to belong into the entertainment business, she kept it a secret ( buuuut knowing Yerin, she’d slip up somewhere ). She could never fathom as to why fans went beyond the extreme measures of invading their biases personal lives. At the end of the day, they were just like any other human being. Some just so happened to be more popular and richer than others. Besides the popularity part, Yerin wouldn’t mind the fortune. Hm, maybe she should try out as a K-pop idol herself? PFFT, AS IF.

       Much too engrossed in scrolling through her instagram feed ( liking for likes and following back those who she deemed not as creeps ), Yerin paid little to no attention to the figure beside her. Popping one earbud out, she raises an inquisitive brow at the other, face morphed into one of uncertainty. In spite of her volume being put on low, being accompanied with the train station and constant conversations surrounding the two— it was nearly impossible for Yerin to make out her previous words.

       ❝Uh... yes? Unless the hand was drugged with some type of sedative, so that adds another possibility to it. Then again, saying that it’s dead makes the story much more interesting than it being asleep. Adding a dead body— or hand — always spices up the plot!❞
