What's your take on why Rio's keeping Boomer's body?

OH, FRIEND, I loved it. 

It really is this awesome confirmation that he has not for a second forgotten that she got him arrested. We might all joke in fandom that he’s pussy whipped, and I think he is a little, but he’s also not stupid. He’s into her, and I think he genuinely wants to pursue whatever this is with her, but I think he’s conscious that a) she’s married b) she doesn’t handle shit as well as she pretends to (I mean, far out, just look at his face when he properly realised that her rotten egg was going to be an ongoing issue? This is another post, but I think it’s really, really important that the girls obviously told him all about her, asked him to handle it, and he took care of the body, not her. I think he’s still going to make Beth tidy that mess up later in the season) and c) she’s fickle to put it lightly. She changes her mind faster than a lamp shop has to change light bulbs. 

He’s protecting his interests, and I think him keeping Boomer’s body is entirely about having leverage over her in the instance that she snitches again - whether that’s due to personal or professional reasons. It also makes me really, really hyped to see when they re-bury the body later in the season (as shown in the trailer) because, presumably, that means he trusts her/them enough to give it back.
