I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FIGURE SKATING, so I decided to ask you: what records should I break to be overpowered, like, completely overpowered, no comparison, I'm the best ever. specific records to break would be a certain amount of world titles ( Sonja Henie / 10 gold ), certain amount of olympic titles ( Sonja Henie / 3 gold ), certain amount of european titles ( Irina Slutskaya / 7 gold ) ─ ·✶· here it's important to keep in mind how long you've been competing, to achieve 10 world titles, you'd have to skate for ten years at a top level, considering worlds (and europeans) are held anually. also if you're a relatively young skater, you wouldn't have time to break these yet, as you most likely haven't been competing in senior's for 9+ years. just things to keep in mind!
to make you overpowered in general : quads! what can i say.... the secret formula are quads (•⤙•) nobody jumps quads besides nowadays russians (the first woman to land one was Miki Ando in 2002, with a 4Salchow, trusova pioneered them through international competitions 2018-2019, first woman to land a quad at the olympics was valieva, 2022) ─── so being able to jump quads right now would consistently podium you.
if you want to gen be unbeatable: quad axel. there are different types of jumps: edge jumps ( axel, salchow, loop ) and toe-assisted jumps ( toe loop, flip, lutz ) the axel is the most difficult one as it is the only jump with a forward, outside edge takeoff. compared to other quad jumps, the axel therefore requires an extra rotation due to the forward takeoff. making a quad axel 4½ rotations! no woman has landed one, and only one man is doing them at competitions: ilia malinin.
and even he isn't doing them consistently, which is why he didn't include it in his olympic programs. having a quad axel in your bag, would make you most likely unstoppable. it is extremely hard though, especially if you do it consistently, so you def. have to script out body pain etc.
another thing to keep in mind: figure skating is a sport consisting of a combination of technical ability and artistic expression. you have to have a combination! malinin is often critized, or said to be overscored, due to ppl arguing that he lacks the artistry. there are program components (PCS) that include skatings skills and presentation, which also affects your final score! artistry is still something to not ignore!
