Series: Part 4 of Flawed virtues
Summary: "Works of charity tell who is a man of goodness. Or a fool."
(Lloyd and novel!Javier —Lapel— are back to the Frontera Estate, trying to adapt back to the old (new) normality and all the misunderstandings and situations that can occur when you mix a transmigrant, an apprehensive war veteran, and a righteous —but jealous— knight.) [ SEQUEL OF 'Generosity isn't always a virtue'. Please read the previous parts of the Series before checking this one (: ]
Charity isn’t always a virtue
Lapel was about to finish off the few creatures that survived the attack, now crawling on the ground, when a group of... unicorns? —Yes. They were unicorns. Unicorns did exist in this world, after all, Lapel realized; Who would have thought?— stamped out from somewhere, tearing through the creatures with their single horns like meat on skewers.
So that was the function of that single horn, huh?
“... Father’s new imported horses escaped from their corral.” Lady Silluria commented, both just standing there, watching the massacre; the dome above them was completely gone now. Survivors were moving and waking up slowly, out of danger for the moment. “He isn’t going to be very happy about this...”
“Unicorns.” Lapel mumbled, blinking a few times.
“Unicorns. They— They are called ‘unicorns’.”
“Oh.” Lady Silluria smiled. “You are as knowledgeable as Lord Lloyd is, Lord Lapel!”
