I’m so invested in the idea that people need to make a saga like the Harry Potter films, or a series about All the Young Dudes, that I’m actually considering using my (very limited) filmmaking skills to write a screenplay for it and hoping it becomes popular enough to reach a director who will make it come true.

(by the way, would you prefer a saga or a series? In case I actually end up writing it LOL)
