my words have fallen short, but my thoughts have been an ongoing war
Astagfirullah for every sin I remember and those I forgot.
Allah is greater than all my fears and worries.
A righteous man says: do not think a lot, but make istighfar, for Allah opens with istighfar doors that cannot be opened with overthinking.

Sadness, grief, pain, suffering, calamities, and trials are expiations for sins. Nothing afflicts a servant, not even a thorn prick, without it being an expiation for their sins.
If someone complains of a toothache or insomnia at night, these too are means of expiating sins.
If something afflicts you : do not say, 'If only I had done this or that.'
Instead say;
'This is the decree of Allāh, and what He wills will happen.'
When we miss a bus, lose a job, or find ourselves unable to marry the person we want, have we ever stopped to consider the possibility that it may have been for our own good? Allah tells us in the Qur'an: "But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you not know." (2:216) When Allah swt closes a door that we wanted to open so badly, lets not despair. Lets not end up staring indefinitely at the closed doors of our lives. Lets not forget to notice the ones that have opened. Lets take a step back and notice the bigger picture. Often Allah swt takes things away from us, only to replace them with something greater.
From the beginning till the end it’s just you and your Creator.
"And hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those mindful ˹of Allah˺."
(3:133)

What do you want? Job? Health? Peace? Rizk? Anything you need in your life, ask Allah. He is Ar-Razzak, the provider! He is the owner of all. Tell Allah, He gives. Most specially ask for the guidance. You need it the most. The peace is in Tawheed, in the words of Allah. Never stop believing, Allah grants.
He is Ar razzak, the one who provides. Anything, any amount. He gives.
