My bestfriend nearly committed suicide a few nights ago.

We drifted apart after HIgh School. and recently started hanging out again. I was always unsure about the company he kept considering we now had different group of friends now. Their names are Zach and rob.They were all heavy into drugs and drinking...and he fell right into that.

The only time he was sober or in a good place was when we hung out. We decided to go a club together later that day

So That night, after having fun for nearly 2 hours... he ran out the club after getting into an argument with his ex girlfriend bc she showed up with another man. I ran out and hugged him after he broke down crying in his car.

He told me he was going straight home... but he didn’t. He stopped by his “other friends” house & picked something up but didn’t tell me what it was.

From what I was told, he took 3 substances that was so lethal, his mom found him unresponsive on the ground face down. He gave up and wanted the pain to go away.

He left a suicide note w/ a list of people that he loved.

One of them was me... and neither was Zach or rob listed.

As I’m typing this, I just got news that he’s home. And I’m leaving to go hug him and tell him how much I love him.

Please don’t take your friends for granted. And make sure they know they always have someone to lean on.
