how to not rot after a long day at school

₊˚ପ⊹ get moving! physical activity can help to clear your mind and boost your energy. try going for a walk, doing some yoga, or even dancing to your favourite music.

₊˚ପ⊹ engage in hobbies such as reading, drawing, or playing a musical instrument.

₊˚ପ⊹ have something to eat! eating a snack can help replenish your energy levels. opt for nutrition over easy energy.

₊˚ପ⊹ make sure to listen to any app time limits set in place to limit screen time. if you take a bus or train, look out the window or people watch.

Today was my TWO LAST EXAMS. Im so happy im finally done. Im pretty content with what I did although next semester ill try to study a bit harder. I went to Nandos with my friend and got donuts after we finished our exams. It was so good and much needed!

I can now say im exam free for at least 30 days! And I will finally get back to gaming I cant wait because their is some amazing games I wanna try!

Tips for Coping with an Awful Day

1. Distract yourself. Let your mind wander and think about fun things you’ve planned; or watch a funny movie; or call up a friend.

2. Play your favourite music.

3. Try and balance out your terrible day by thinking of something that went really well (and maybe unexpectedly well) recently.

4. Try to squeeze in time for exercise. The endorphins this releases will help to lift your mood.

5. Don’t isolate yourself. Research shows that we generally feel better if we spend time with others, rather than retreating and being on our own.

6. Try to maintain perspective. Ask yourself, “How much will this matter - a week, month or year from now?”

7. Try journaling. Many people find that just writing things down helps to drain away the negativity.

8. Go to bed early and try to fall asleep … And remember that tomorrow is another day.

Was studying the other day for my psych exam which is today, I barely had any chance to post anything tbh!

My exams are all back to back(kinda) One today, the other is on Monday and on tuesday I have two. All i can say is god help me 😅

OMGG, I finally submitted my psychology essay yesterday. I have been procrastinating on that for such a long time and I have a feeling that I didn’t do that well. I hope i’m wrong :(

Did this on my ipad the other day, I havent drew in quite a long time. I do enjoy it so much but I struggle to find time for everything I love because I love A LOT of things!!

Im finally getting back to reading. I dont know what happened but I stopped reading a while ago and its really irritating cause I love reading but my life is reallllllyyyy messy right now so I am just trying to get everything back together hopefully I start reading everyday.

Ocean

You know where I wanna be right now ? I wanna be staring at the ocean and standing by the seashore. I want to feel the sun radiating against my cold skin and at the same time feel the cold breeze in the air. I want to feel the sticky sand turning into mud as it touches my bare feet, I stare at my once clean feet as they are now covered with mud and walk calmly along the seashore. I stare at how humongous the ocean is and think of my teeny tiny problems compared to the restless ocean. Suddenly with all those thoughts travelling my mind I see something in the distance jumping in arches like they’re drawing rainbows but then I call it out to myself “ ITS A DOLPHIN”. I become so excited and I try my best to let my eyes follow the speed of them. With all of my excitement, joy and effortful tries not to lose sight of them, they disappear into the deep ocean and they leave me with a huge smile on my warm face. I then stare at the sky and notice the orange sun and I get surprised as how fast time went by. I see the sun touching the ocean and with a blink of an eye the ocean swallows the big sun and darkness turns the blue beautiful ocean into a scary ink black ocean.

Learn to run your own day, don’t let the silly things get into your happy mood. Don’t let people ruin your day by letting them get into your thoughts and feelings. Wake up every morning with a clear mind and forgive everyone you know, wake up happy and with a smile on your face so your whole day would be filled with happiness. Learn to forgive and to manage your anger. Life is too short to stress about things that don’t matter. Live your life to the fullest !!
