whats your view on the royal trainees?
you guys really want a lot out of me, huh? well, i’m cherry & i always deliver the spill.
for royal, there’s baekhyun, who we’ve heard & seen quite a bit of. we all know he was on the mgas, season three, to be exact. he’s a good singer, if i remember correctly-- but there was a lot of stuff floating around about him. rumours of dating fellow contestant seolhyun, who is now luxe’s ella. not to mention he also had netizens speculating if he had something with another contestant. nothing too exciting has happened since then, besides him being a co-host for a few episodes with fellow trainee seunghwan. he was there at the jeju concert-- but that’s pretty much it. and he was an okay dancer; he’s definitely not the worst, and he holds himself a lot better than most. how i feel? well, you know me, i love the scandalous types, and i really want to know if there’s any truth behind it. maybe we’ll see soon, especially with how royal is going these days...
moving on from baekhyun, there’s the other cohost from royal survival seunghwan. i remember him from the mgas specifically for being a handsome one, and with a tragic backstory. and he has a voice, if i remember...he is a singer right? i know he’s not a dancer-- from what we’ve seen at the jeju concert. practice a little longer, seunghwan. you’re no where near my ult level (taeminnie is the best dancer!), but maybe with some practice, you can get at least a little better!
moving on...we’ll start at our royal survival girls. i’ve kinda talked about them before-- soohyun and lisa are my preferences of the three; lisa’s so charismatic, and soohyun is so cute with a voice! that’s enough for me! soohyun’s taken to posting a lot more on instagram than she does on her youtube, which is super upsetting! because, like, how am i supposed to hear her voice? soohyunnie, please upload more! and lisa was on the third season of the mga’s too. she was always a favorite; she moves, talks, breathes, and you can’t take your eyes off of her. her dancing has gotten so much better over the years too! unlike soohyunnie. please dance more! practice makes perfect, or as close as you can get! following soohyun & lisa, we have chaeyoung-- which, i’ve said it once, said it before, she’s not my favorite. it’s a no brainer she’s good at singing, but what else is she good at? she can play an instrument, i guess...i don’t know, she’s just not for me!
next, we have the set of kids from the recent mga season. firstly, we have the finalists-- mingyu, yoojung, and wonwoo. now, talent wise-- they’ve all got something. mingyu’s a rap focus, yoojung’s a good dancer and rapper, and wonwoo’s...a what, a dancer & singer? i’ll be honest, wonwoo kinda faded in the back to me. mingyu did too, but he was one of the very few rappers on the mgas, so it was a little hard to completely forget he was there. wonwoo and yoojung were both dance focus, and there were so many dancers on that show, god. anyway, i’ve already mentioned that yoojung is sorta eh to me. she’s good, talent wise-- but she’s always been kinda boring to me. i definitely noticed her a lot more at the winter concert than on the mgas (character development, we love it!), but i’d have to see more from her to be considered one of my favorites. mingyu’s also...not a dancer. it seems he only really knows how to rap and look good. which, isn’t really an issue-- and he’s only been a trainee for a short time, so he has room to improve. with wonwoo...he’s still kinda faded into the back, but i did at least notice he was there. he’s cute too, so hopefully he’ll do more in the future! and speaking of mga’s returnees-- don’t think i didn’t notice min yoongi back there! he’s a great dancer, and a pretty good rapper from what i remember. he’s not very-- noticeable, though. i could only really tell because he can actually dance as opposed to some of the other trainees. other than that, he’s pretty boring. and his instagram only has like, a few posts on it? so boring! but he’s also friends with sphere’s jeongguk, which...okay, maybe we’ll stan if only to see something of him! anyway, yoongi’s boring, and he talks weird. sure, it’s just his accent, but like-- what’s he saying half the time?
leaving those behind, we have a lot of faces we haven’t seen before, huh? we’ll start with some we do know a little bit on. they’re all newly revealed, but we know jaehyun is the one that’s a little questionable with eclipse’s anna. haven’t heard anything from that, so they’re probably just rumours to spark some more attention on eclipse. he’s at least...handsome, and he can dance, that i can tell. he’s also eyecatching, but maybe that’s his looks? i’m not sure, i can’t really tell from a fancy performance on a concert stage. he did have some focus though. at least one of the focuses could dance.
then, there’s the really pretty one, jisoo! i’ve mentioned her once or twice; she’s super gorgeous, but she can’t dance. like, at all? which is so disappointing! i wonder what her use to royal is, if not for her face-- though that’s a really strong reason to keep her there! following jisoo, we have...jiwoo? she’s cute, sure. but she can’t dance all that well. she seems better than jisoo, or maybe around the same level? i can’t really tell when you’re kinda fumbling around on there. and we also have minseok, who can actually dance! and he’s really cute. not much i can say about him, but he’s one of royal’s good dancers, that’s for sure.
moving on to our final three, we have a boy named jinseok. he’s a decent dancer, for sure, and he seems like he knows what to do on stage. he also has an instagram but...i don’t know if it’s actually his or not. too confusing, next! anyway, there’s also seonho. he’s not...a great dancer. there’s something, but it’s not very much. which, doesn’t really make me want to talk about him-- i hope he’s a vocalist or at least a rapper. or he gets his dancing up. he’s at least cute, and kinda...babyface ish. anyway, moving to our final mention, miss shiah. which, i’ve kinda briefly mentioned. she’s...kinda eh. she’s really pretty, like she looks like a doll; which, it’s aesthetically pleasing, i guess...but i don’t like it. she’s cute, but she looks too much like a doll (and i’m the only pretty dollface around here!). she’s a good dancer, too. i wonder if she’s a vocalist or a rapper, though...what else can she do? i’m not really feeling her at the moment...but maybe once we see more? otherwise, it’s just kind of another eh. like chaeyoung, talented, but not really for me.
