the last time siyoung had seen his friend was sometime months ago. during that time the two were spending the day checking out the cherry blossom and also performing on the same stage. rubbing the back on his neck the male debated on whether or not to just go ahead and play a round of basketball or continue to just lounge around in the house until his brother gets home and scold him for not using his time wisely. grabbing the basketball he decided to go with option one.
“do this, do that” he mumble outloud as his ball repeated hit the palm of his hand then bouncing back down to ground. siyoung was already upset with the fact that his parents are getting on his butt about not going to college but now they wanted him to meet a nice girl? did they not understand that music was his girlfriend. siyoung was in a commit relationship and he wasn’t going to cheat on his first love. music above all else. that’s his motto. lost in his own train of thought the ball completely missing the ground and bounce on his foot. “oh shoot!” he yelled as the ball bounced away. “omg someone stop that ball!”

“psh.” he laughed, both at the others shocked reply and the fact siyoung was actually pouting. having only seen the older males supposed ‘cuteness’ like once before, and only on accident. it’s still funny to see this ‘big bad rapper’ show off aegyo, even if its only a tiny bit. “of course im going to kill it, i have a few new moves up my sleeve. you’d be smart if you bet on me tonight, hyung.” he replied, cocky as ever and not even try to hide his confidence. he wouldn’t claim to be a professional dancer, but he absolutely claims to be good at what he does. he loves to dance, of course he’s good.
hearing the offer for dinner regardless of if he wins or not made the younger male pause. out of everything he could have expected siyoung to say, it had not been that. and a part of him is a little touched that the older male would even offer. jinhong likes to think that they’re close friends, but he never really knows what the other’s opinion of him is. “ah, hyung you’re so good to me.” he said, grinning and throwing his arms around the others shoulders in a sudden hug. “i’ll be the best company, just count on me! and i’ll definitely win.”
siyoung chuckled before making a tsking sound. playful he scold the other “i better not catch you in a fight tonight.” pointing down to his shoes he smiled at the other before continuing “i dont have my running shoes on today.” give him a head notice and maybe he would had got the right shoes on to run. these were nmds were more for the looks, he was a low key sneaker head. all his shoes stay clean and for those that got dirty they were the one that he cared less for.
stroking his chin he thought long and hard about it. “if i gamble” he stated clearly, siyoung wasn’t big on gambling “i would had bet my money on you.” which was true he wouldn’t doubt the others ability ever, sure there might be great dancer out there but siyoung was human. so he’s allow to be biased. “all them girls are going to flocking you boy” when you’re a good looking male with some kind of talent with was easy to get the girls to fall for you. that’s one thing that siyoung loved was attention.
“we’re friends aren’t we?” siyoung was that kid that always looked out for people. he was always that cocky ass kid that people thought only think about himself but siyoung grew up from that. he learn to give a little because what he has was something not a lot of kids his age had. so treating someone out was nothing to him. “it’s really nothing though, don’t worry about it.” he smiled patting the others back. “you know me, i just like to spoil my friends. and i don’t want anything in return btw” emphasis on the don’t because he really didn’t. just seeing his friend happy was all that siyoung could ask for.

Taeyang take a few moments to stare at the text messages that immediately reveal they are in fact not meant for him, the two clues being that he does not know anyone named Siyoung and he certainly does not go by the name Kat for himself. The longer he think about it the more he feel uncomfortable about the situation, and regret being curious just a few minutes earlier. Not that any of this is by any means his problem, though.
(`message.) Yeah, I think you’ve got the wrong number. (`message.) I’m sorry, I don’t know a Siyoung or a Kat.
When he finally shift his focus back to his guitar and the song he was working on earlier, he’s already forgot about the texts within the next minutes. He has been neglecting the project for too long already and mentally scold himself for that, having felt somewhat defeated and lack of motivation to keep on trying. So when he then get into the almost forgotten zone again, he doesn’t notice right away should he receive more messages.
siyoung just stared at the message confuse about everything. he turned to his so called friend who was sitting a couple seats away from him for confirmation. maybe he should had done that to begin with but he didn’t really think about to talk to people when he was upset and ready to destroy everyone that was insight. “is this her number?”
“i don’t know.” rolling his eyes towards the back of his head siyoung was at lost for words. what did he ever do to deserve something like this. looking at the message siyoung thought to himself whether or not to ask the stranger for help or just dip. the door was right there and there was only one cop around to stop him there was no way that he could probably get caught, right? or so that’s what he kept telling himself.

her dark hair bounced around on her shoulders as she walked down gangnam’s streets, quickly making her way to siyoung’s studio. with her phone in her right hand, chaeyeon glanced every few seconds at the digital map that had directions in front of her, the phone’s feminine voice speaking out loud with every turn she made. as she walked, the teenager couldn’t deny the smile plastered on her face - the soft skin around her eyes wrinkled, her pink cheekbones raised and her white teeth semi-visible - all out of pure excitement.
she couldn’t deny that the motivation behind something as spontaneous as this was because of a hollywood movie that she’d watched which had been based on hip-hop and the history of rapping legends. naturally after watching such an inspiring movie, chaeyeon’s open-minded and strongly curious mind pondered on the prospect of developing a rap skill - which might ultimately help push her forward on the road to achieving her aspirations. it seemed like a good plan, but how was she to practice without someone to help her learn the basics and all? after all, she lacked both the vocal rhythm and the creative mind needed. thankfully, chaeyeon knew someone like siyoung.
soon enough, her eyes meet the letters of a building’s address matching the one given to her, her phone chiming, ‘ you have arrived at your destination ’. with a sigh, the teen shuts her phone off and places it gently into the bag strapped over her shoulder. while her hand remained at her bag on it’s strap, she allows herself in and walks into the studio slowly. her pink lips separated for her voice to sound loud and clear. “ uh, siyoung? i’m here— oh it’s, uh, chaeyeon by the way. ”
siyoung wasn't a professional teacher or anything but when he was signed to an underground label the young male did do a lot of writing and learning what he could. it was something that he loved about being signed. it was like going to school but instead of learning something irrevlant like math, it was creative writing. during this time the young male was able to pratice day and night. being being an iconic rapper the male had a dream of also being able to write music for all artist. this was his end goal. even if he hit the age of retirement he wanted to at least continue to write music.
chaeyeon had contact siyoung not too long ago about teaching her the basic of rapping. with little to no background skill in teach siyoung agree. sure he dislike people who become rappers because they can’t sing but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t help a person who wanted to learn. to better explain it siyoung will help the person get into the water but they shouldn;t expect him to help them swim.
sitting in his little studio that his brother help him find the male leaned back in his chair. letting his laptop warm up he overhead a voice that was not his nor his brother. “yeah?” he called out confused for a moment before the other identified herself for him “oh chaeyeon, come up stair” it would had been more gentlement like of him to walk her upstair but he was still getting his stuff ready. waiting for the other to come into his music studio he geture her over to take a seat on the couch. “take a seat.” he smield. leaning back on the swilve chair he let out a soft sigh “my stuff is still loading so it should take a while. do you want anything to drink?” walking towards the mini fridge he pulled out a water bottle. “excuse the medical stuff that’s all my hyung. we kind of share this space but not really. if that makes sense.”

the texts feel so casual but she’s going to be abrupt about this desire, she wants to see him. to want something, you’d truly have to work for it—a true statement and quoting from the wise words of her mother. moving her fingers swiftly to reply, she asks.

siyoung was fidgeting more than usual. leaving the comfort of his living room the male headed upstair towards his bedroom. whether or not he had the cougar to ask her to hang out today siyoung will still find a reason to leave his home today. even if he doesn’t get the chance to see her. it was hard to not check his phone but he fought back the temptation until he finally reach his room.
the message that he saw made him smile warmly. before even getting the chance to ask her himself; she made the first moved. maybe thats why he was drawn to her because she was so different from all the other. naeun was always there for him but siyoung was so blinded by fame that he never really realize how important she was in his life at the time. quickly he snap himself out of the fantasy of what if and reply back to her.

grabbing the iphone charger the male set his phone on the side. although he was at a good 50% it was better safe than sorry to charge his phone fully before heading out. walking over towards his closet the male look through his closet for something to wear. something that would make him look nice. something that scream ‘i put a lot of effort in how i look for you’
