Just a little look at how Aster, Briar and Cornell are related. :3c

Cornell’s aunt married into nobility; she and his parents were born in a forested region. Unicorns from these areas are typically the size of normal horses and are seen as common breeds to the human eye.

The twins father is from the mountains; unicorns from this region are larger than normal and are often mistaken as draft horses.
