I have trouble being honest. Being honest with others and more importantly myself. More so now, I’ve made it harder to myself to get close to others as the foundation is almost always based off of lies. It’s a good defense mechanism but what am I trying to protect?

I have this incessant need to save face. To say that my pride is all I’ve got is some bullshit. I have it pretty good; I live in a nice house, there’s some form of financial stability although I remain dependent of my parents but it’s more than what other people have got, and I have the freedom to do so much. I’m in a really good situation but I’m making nothing of it. And I’m so sick of myself for that same reason.

What I’m really trying to get at is, I’ve got nothing going for me. And now I’ve lost it. I feel the emotional disconnect settling in. I no longer care. I can’t commit to anything and this is a damn good example of it. I have no passion. I realize I live a life based off of impulse and it’s sickening. 

And now I’m officially done with this post.
