I have nightmares about running into you. I have nightmares about you all the time. I don't want to see you. I don't even like you as a person, so why are you always in my dreams haunting me?

There comes a time in your life when you realize the importance of living to the fullest and greatest happiness you can. You realize that at any moment this can be taken away from you, your loved ones, neighbours, anyone. At any moment you could be paralyzed by sickness or death.

I would like to take one moment to think about my life, and how grateful I am. I have been able to travel, go to university, make beautiful friends around the world, and for this and my health I am eternally grateful.

Unfortunately it has taken a very dear friend of mine to become incredibly sick for me to realize how quickly and seriously your life can change. How can a young, healthy, 24 year old man become plagued with numerous types of cancer?

It is in his positivity and strength that I find myself in awe. I admire him tremendously for putting up a great fight. You are my inspiration, and my light. I love you with all of my heart.
