Haha I mean, I’m not! It would be kinda unhealthy to feel cheery all the time! But for me, it’s about both appreciating the moments when I’m happy, and appreciating the moments when I’m sad too! Feeling strong ways in either direction makes me feel able to experience the colorful palette of emotions that life has to offer me. If my life was a story and made up of nothing but simple happy moments, that wouldn’t be much of an adventure. I want it to be filled with conflict, trials, and dark patches to journey through. That’s what makes for a great story, and I have to be able to appreciate the good moments along with the bad.
