Make Your Mark:
Exploring Personal Imagery
There is still space available for this class, on zoom, which starts next week.
"Make Your Mark: Exploring Personal Imagery " is a class devoted to finding ways to expand, develop and sustain an art-making practice. Looking at and observing our lives, personal history and world events, to find ideas will be our primary focus. We will discuss how the times we are witnessing can be fuel for art-making. While most participants will work in various forms of drawing, all mediums are welcomed and encouraged. Classes will have a studio component / work time and discussion. We will regularly look at work by contemporary artists as well as those from the past. Experimentation and process will be stressed. There will be regular outside projects. The class provides a fun opportunity to meet and connect with a community of artists.
There are two sections of the class.
