I desperately need somebody to explain the whole concept of being radqueer to me.
I am anti-radqueer as it stands now and from what I know, I donβt intend to change that. But I need somebody to sit me the fuck down and tell me exactly what being radqueer means to the radqueer community, because all my information comes from places of hatred from the anti-rq side. Which, from what Iβve been told, is well deservedβ I am pro-para, NOT pro-abuse or pro-c of harmful paras, but I also think paraphilias should NOT be considered part of the queer community, nor do I think you can transition your age or become disordered by choice.
I support the ORIGINAL definitions of transIDs (βtransageβ being neurodiverse people who arenβt mentally their body age but donβt use that to enter their mental ageβs areas, βtransraceβ being people who are adopted into a family of a different race and associate themselves more with the culture of their family, βtransabledβ being people with BIID [esp those who arenβt recovering through therapy and thus take a medical route]. β none of these are necessarily TRANS, but I support the use of those words in those contexts, though theyβre unfortunately no longer associated with that.)
I do NOT support RCTA, or things like βtrans mall shooterβ and shit like that. There is no world in which I would support identities, esp harmful topics, where you just smack a βtransβ label onto it and call it a queer identity.
The only transID I support in general aside from transgender is transspecies, in the sense of therians and alterhumans.
But you know whatβs also true? The anti-endo communityβs claims about the endo community make their hatred seem well-founded, too. Thereβs a lot of misinfo about the endo community that I see repeated over and over again in the anti-endo community that, when you go into the endo community with that bias in mind, you may see a lot of.
I donβt like being told all my information about a topic from one side. Much less the side that hates the topic and everybody who supports it.
Better yet β I want a radqueer to debate me respectfully. I want to learn.
If anybody who is or was in the radqueer community is interested, please educate me. And if it is fully true that the things Iβve mentioned I donβt support IS really what your community is based on, then youβre still welcome to debate me, but please do not expect my stance to change.
I will not engage with disrespectful takes. If you donβt think you can debate me and remain respectful, then please DNI.
