Plural pet peeve is how everything is catered to and around really separate systems

Good luck seeing any mentions of median or parasian or mediple or anything like that. Even fractured DID !

And even when we try to go into our own tiny community because the larger one doesn't fit us at all, there's nothing

Just go check the median system or parasian tag right now. Do it. And look at how little people and posts are in the "recents", look at how everything in the "popular" has nothing to do with the community and is only general "normal" plural posts burying our own stuff because of cross-tagging for "reach"

Our routine has been staying away from plural posts for weeks because we never see anything about ourselves, giving in at some point because the isolation is driving us crazy and we desperately try looking for any community or relatable posts or something, dropping it after a few hours of finding nothing, rinse and repeat

The constant barrage of only clear separate systems who have clear identities and switches and can talk to each other at any time and have a headspace was so much, it eroded the whole year of acceptance of being median we worked on, and now we're back to having a crisis about "maybe I'm just a shell and we're actually not median at all, and the only reason we're similar is because everyone gets filtered through me when they front, and they're actually all completely different in the headspace where they're all talking and I'm the only one who can't access that and see or hear anyone, which also means I've been assuming and shoving my thoughts about our identity on everyone because I'm a host, and so I've been acting like the controlling "real one" this whole time and I'm a horrible person, and the monoconscious thing is just me being wrong again and just forgetting stuff other headmates remember because I'm self-centered and shoved my thoughts on everyone again because there's no way they could have different experiences, and I've been minimising every alter as "just facets" instead of the whole people they are because I'm so self-centered and I'm not actually accepting of my headmates at all and am secretly a horrible person and maybe I'm the reason that some people haven't showed up in ages"...

Stop cross-tagging.

This is an issue in every community as more and more people treat this place like instagram with an algorithm and looking for reach and more attention, but not only are you clogging people's tags with irrelevant stuff, you're also especially drowning out smaller, more vulnerable communities

I think we were rapid switching all afternoon yesterday for the first time and it was extremely disorienting, and we might even have had our first blackouts we've ever noticed since syscovery, if we've even had blackouts before and this isn't all a result from the current crisis

I'm sorry if this is too venty or accusing, but, we just need people to see what's happening and how damaging it is. This is far from the only small vulnerable community we've seen getting drowned out and suffering from it (the transspecies and physical-otherkin communities come to mind), but this is the one that's been affecting us the most personally

This is genuinely terrible, I'm so sorry that the tags are being used so incorrectly. Everyone who sees this that's median/parasian/experiences things like this (/not forced /genuine) should post about their experiences being similar and how all that works, flood the tags with your own unique experiences, take the tags back, we can't necessarily help as we're very separate (but also very similar depending on the day I guess) but I hope other folks can use the tags for their correct purposes and give others (including you) the reassurance that you guys are real the way you've thought all along, a system/plural/etc could literally just be 1 guy (/gender neutral) duplicated 3 times where they're all the exact same, you don't have to be multiple to be plural

As a monocon mediple system, it's more of becoming them. But not in the exact way nonpossessive switches are. I become them and they're front now and I'm cocon.

They can hear me if I talk like how I can here them

But we don't know we switch unless we say "I am ___" (which we do often) and it doesn't feel right.

OR we feel different and they leave front and another person takes front with little memory (it's rare, but we have a few headmates who have more amnesia than the rest of the system)

I "become" them. The fronter is whoever "I" am. If that makes any sense?

number one issue of being a median/mediple system is the way it all feels fake until it doesnt for like three fucken seconds and then it feels like it isnt real again

So for some time, we thought we were most likely a median system, but it still didn't seem entirely correct... Then we discovered mediple

Mediple is a mix of being median and multiple: having closeness of mind / thoughts, identity, personality, and possibly more, while still being distinct individuals who are ( semi- ) seperate from one another.

Hearing this changed our whole view about plurality and helped us understand ourselves ( and why we tend to switch between " i " and "we" even in the same sentence ) a lot more! There's not a lot of representation for mediples online, but hopefully sharing this will help others figure themselves out, as well as spread the awareness of these types of systems!

Y'know, funny... That median subsys of ours sounds more mediple now but we forgot the term existed. Somehow.

There needs to be more representation or more posts from mediple plurals cuz we legit forgot there's extra nuances between median and multiple (even when we've referenced the spectrum of plurality in a lot of our responses and used the term mediple too).

Would be cool if we could find more mediple experiences to share on here guys.

Modular System (With and without the symbol) -> Flag created by us

Modular systems are systems containing of many fragments that will "merge" or "stack together" to form temporary purpose-based headmates , and "breaking apart" again afterwards.

A common analogy is Lego bricks: each fragment can be represented by a separate brick, which assemble to create someone on the fly. The system member is then easily disassembled and the bricks exist separately once more. [Hence this flag's symbol being a Lego]

This flag can also be used as a Modular Spectrum flag (which is just the experience of a plural that is somewhere in between Modular and non-modular)
