"LOVER, TELL ME IF YOU'RE ABLE.. WHO'S GONNA LAY THE WEDDING TABLE?"
Frank choked back a laugh when he saw the very gorgeous woman in front of him, holding a flower made from paper, her money clearly sparse, just as the seasons were. She had blonde hair, long, down to her waist, and green eyes that looked up at him with pure adoration, which Frank couldn't help but think he didn't deserve.
"I'm Melissa. I'm the woman who's gonna marry you." Melissa answers his prior question, Frank snickered at the words, turning to the man beside her.
"Is.. she always like this?" Frank asked. The man replied with a solemn nod.
"I'm Frank." Frank shared.
"Your name is like a melody." Melissa whispered in utter amazement, Frank couldn't help but flush under the words.
"..I also play the lyre." Melissa whispered.
"LOVER, WHEN I SING MY SONG.. ALL THE TREES ARE GONNA SING ALONG!"
Mel had been staring at the hungry boy for the past 7 minutes, her eyes sparkling in interest. Jack had seen the look a million times, but never with a person.
"..Do you wanna go talk to him?" Jack questioned, raising an eyebrow at Mel. Mel only looked at the hungry boy for a moment more before snapping her head to Jack.
"Yes." Mel answered instantly, nodding eagerly at the idea, she doesn't look at Jack for very long, eyes fluttering back to the boy, eyes sparkling at the flame of the candle he was protecting.
"..Go on." Jack sighed, gesturing her to go ahead and move forward to go speak to the boy, Mel immediately listened to the instruction without hesitation. "Mel?" Jack called.
"..Yes?" Mel replied, turning her head as she skid to a stop.
"Don't come on too strong." Jack told her. Mel nodded quickly, taking a deep breath in and surging forward.
"Come home with me." Mel told the boy. Jack sighed loudly, running a hand down his face.
Ok. I'm done with Hadestown AUs. Probably.
