You used to joke on what would you do if The Batman flopped… Is it true that you will make art house porn movies in the future?

Have you slept?
“I couldn’t even tell, I genuinely didn’t tell anyone, ‘cause it got leaked actually before I was cast, and I genuinely [still] wasn’t cast, and my entire world texted me being like ‘Are you playing Batman???’ because I hadn’t told anyone that I was even [auditioning]. I had to promote a movie then I went to do another movie and every single interview was like ‘Are you playing Batman?’ ‘Are you playing Batman?’ and I genuinely thought ‘If I say anything I’m going to lose the job’. I didn’t text a single person back. I felt like nauseous the entire time. So I remember when I first got the call, I just sat in the garden and looked at the sun… And I was like, I was literally like… [mouthing in silence to the air] ‘I’m Batman!’”
— Robert Pattinson on the very first thing he did after getting ‘The Batman’ call
