There is a sliver of sun-shining hope in everyday. Too deep too early? Ha . But it’s true. We can hide anxiety and stress in our daily routine. Avoid things that make us uncomfortable. Put off tasks because we hate doing them or faced with a reality we don’t want to face. Could be debt, bad decisions, unlucky breaks, whatever. . Just like this picture you decide if it’s a cloudy sunrise or the sun is peeking through and it’s going to be a great day. . When that pit in your stomach starts creeping in, and you have to face that barrier that triggers that stress , call a timeout, focus for a few moments on the one thing, person or memory that makes you smile and brings you joy. The Sports Career Development Process

Are you a parent of a High School or College student who dreams of working in sports management or sports media?

For the past several years as just a hobby, I have coached hundreds of careers seekers who's ambitions and dream job didn't match their skills nor did they have any idea on how to take the first step in the industry.  This is normal and the reason for them reaching out to me.  

My career coaching hobby led me to write the book "How To Land A Dream Job If Your Dad Doesn't Own The Team".  That book was an Amazon #1 book release last summer and has helped thousands of career seekers around the world.  The interesting thing was many of those career seekers live in India!  So you never know where helping others can lead you.

My hobby today has become my passion project and have led me to return to my alma mater as a career mentor for our sport management students.  So what if your child doesn't go to our school?  I can still help them discover where their interest in sports and media matches with their skills.  I do this through one on one video coaching, career game plan strategy and opportunities to participate in Industry Immersion Experiences at global sports events.
