Now we are good. We are actually friends. He has two children, a little girl and a little boy. Guns n’ Roses came together in the scruffy hard-rock scene of Los Angeles early in 1985. Two of the founding members, singer Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin, grew up together in Lafayette, Indiana, where Rose in particular had a reputation for violence and juvenile delinquency. They were joined in LA by Slash, a native of Great Britain whose artist parents worked in Hollywood, and Duff “Rose” McKagan, a former resident of Seattle.

Jan Kuehnemund was still at high school in St. Paul, Minessota, when she decided to form a band in 1980. She called it Vixen and toured the USA to finnish settling in Los Angeles. It was during these road days when Jan recruited Janet Gardner after enjoying her voice in a Californian club.
