On November 8th, 2018, Christy Marx and her husband Randy Littlejohn’s home near Paradise, California, was completely destroyed by the Camp Fire. They were only able to save what they could quickly put in their car as well as their six cats.

This GoFundMe was set up by their close friend of 30 years, Ellen Guon Beeman who worked with Christy Marx as a co-writer for the Jem episodes “Princess and the Singer” and “Treasure Hunt”.

Jem passed Josie and the Pussycats among others in that imdb poll, and got a bunch of new votes for the rating aswell, so a higher rating is probably not far away.

Thanks for voting Jem fans! Jem deserves to be high on all kinds of lists, and it's nice to see that we can get together and do things like this for Jem.

How outrageous is Jem?

Do you know what these cartoons have to do with Jem?

- Paw Paws - Alfred J. Kwak - Lady Lovely Locks - Life with Louie - Moon Dreamers - Kissyfur - Centurions - Samurai Pizza Cats - Visionaries - The Mighty Orbots - 2 stupid dogs - The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers - The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest - The Pirates of Dark Water - Goldie Gold and Action Jack

Not much. Some are good, but certainly not as iconic as Jem, right? But they all are ranked higher than Jem at IMDb.com. Some ridiculously high! Much higher than many multiple academy award winning movies even. Because few people voted, and rated these cartoons extremly high. This means Jem is listed alot lower on alot of lists, like this one: http://www.imdb.com/search/title?at=0&genres=animation&sort=user_rating Which makes Jem harder to find unless you search directly for it.

So where are all Jem fans? Well 2736 people bothered to vote (mostly negatively) for the Jem live-action movie, but about a thousand of those did not vote at all for the Jem cartoon. It only has 1685 votes.

Does this mean it's easier to hate? Or are those 1000 voters not even Jem fans?

If you have some love for Jem, let's vote the Jem cartoon up at IMDb.com! Jem deserves a higher rating, right? It's rated at 7,6 now. Let's see how many people vote the next few days, and if we can bring up the number anything at all.

Here are finally the results of the 2015 Rock Jem ballot. So who was the big winner? The dolls, comics, movie, fans, or the original people behind Jem?
