Finally finished my drawing of Azie after months of distractions.

I adored this book and this scene lives forever in my mind. I also head cannon Ead to be utterly ripped, what of it?!

This is my first time ever using colour or drawing this style, and well, what a rollercoaster of emotions that was!

I also think I may have inadvertently made Sabran’s features oddly familiar, having drawn another dark haired, green eyed someone too many times…

I’m usually a graphite artist, I love my pencils and paper, but decided to give digital a try for a change. Kept with the graphite tools for now because, you know, comfort zone.

Usually, the subject of my drawings never actually get to see the finished piece in person. But the reaction from Nicole this weekend is honestly beyond what I could have hoped for.

I still have the echo of her voice shouting ‘oh my god’ on loop in my mind.

Azie joined in and said that she wants one doing and wants to see it next time she’s here. So we made a deal there and then.
