do you have more baroque/ classical music recommendations
Oh, do I ever. I'll start with my current obsession: the ensemble Voices of Music and their featured violinist, the phenomenally talented Alana Youssefian. Here she is performing Vivaldi's concerto "St. Antonio" and Antonio Bertali's Ciaccona. Seeing her in action gives me a hint of what it must have been like to attend a concert by the great virtuosi of the past, like Tartini or Paganini -- performers so phenomenally gifted, so utterly in command of their instrument, that audiences wondered whether supernatural forces were at work.
