Simple Cybertronian Definitions
Just in case a non-cybertronian stumbles across my journal I thought it would be best to write down a few definitions.
Joor- about an hour, more or less
Orn- 'day', thirty-five hours
Deca-orn- 'week', ten orns
Mega-orn- 'month', three deca-orns, thirty orns
Cycle- 'year', ten mega-orns
Deca-cycle- 'decade', ten cycles
Mega-cycle- thirty cycles
Chassis- chest and/or torso
Vents- 'lungs', works more like fish gills, taking air in the intake and pushing it out through the vents
Armor- interchangeable protective outer layer
Proto-form- functionally skin
Endo-frame- functionally skeleton
Bio-ligjts- lights that naturally cover cybertronian frames
Doorwings/Sensory Panels- A trait exclusively on Praxians and those of mixed Praxian heritage *helps with 'seeing' in the dark
Chevron- same from above,,except the chevron is on the helm
Wings- exclusively on Vosinites, they can fly.
Strut- functionally cybertronian muscles
Support- functionally bones
Fuel-line- functionally veins
Interface- not sexual, but is alot of times as a slang word for it. An interface is just a connection.
To purge and/or Purging- vomiting
Overcharged- drunk and/or high
Rotary pack- a mod that mech with a copter alt-mode have
Femmeling- young 'female'
Sparkling- Baby to Toddler
Youngling- Child to Preteen
New-build- Teenager to young adult
Caste/Class- what rank a mecha holds
Frame-type- race ex. Polyhexan, Praxian, Kaonite, ect.
Frame-model- wether mech or femme
Alt-type- what you turn into
Monoformer- has no alt-mode, how all cybertronians used to be
Triple-changer- has two alt-modes plus root mode
Outlier- has special ability; superpowers
Sire- the mecha who sires offspring
Carrier- the mecha who carries offspring
Spark-sibling- related brother or sister
Bond-sibling- unrelated mecha that forged a sibling bond
Amica Endura- long-term best friend
Conjunx Endura- un-bonded mate
Bond/Spark-mate- Bonded mate, this bond is unbreakable unto death, it is torture to outlive a Spark-mate and rarely happens
Spark-twins- or Spark split twins, spark splits at birth creating two newsparks that share a single spark. Impossible for spark-twins to outlive each other.
Buy-a-mech- slang for prostitute
Empty- Homeless bot, usually starving enough to revert to base instincts
Grounder- slang for any non-avian mecha
Kanny- racial slur for Kaonites
Preda- demeaning nickname for Teraxians (beast modes)
Poly or Hexi- Racial slur for Polyhexans
Praxi- Racial slur for Praxians
Con- slang for Decepticons
Drone- equal to calling someone sparkless
Tower-trash- a slur used by low caste mecha in reference to high caste mecha
Gutter-mech- racial slur to any lower caste mecha
Pit-spawn- equivalent to 'demon-spawn' or 'spawn of the devil'
Malfunction- equivalent to idiot or moron
Frag- relatable to the human word F***
Slag- relatable to the human word D** and Sh**
Scrap- relatable to the human word crap and/or Sh**
Spawn of a Glitch- see above
Prime- leader of all of Cybertron
Prime's Consort- mated with the Prime, same power, more or less
Lord Protector- head of Primal Vanguard
Senate- board of Primes lackeys advisors
Primal Vanguard- the Prime's Elite guard, has the same power the Elite class do
Elite- Richest and most powerful next to the Senate and Prime
High Noble- Rich and Famous, has enough money to blow it
Low Noble- Moderately rich or famous, worries about money more
Middle Class- Makes enough to support self and put money away to save
Low Class- Makes only enough to support self
Working Class- just getting by
Classless- making no legal money
High-grade- highly distilled and very potent, will get you over-charged. Expensive
Mid-grade- military/survival ration
Low-grade/Processed- directly from a mecha's fuel lines
Medical-grade- full of minerals and additives,bitter
