How come there is Panam with 104289 different quests, romance for men, and a game-changing storyline, and River (only straight romance options for fem V) who ghost V after a love scene and his existence never affects the story, besides a couple of phone calls? I feel that once again female gamers got screwed when it came to "meaningful relationships". Overall, the whole game looks like it's made for men mostly. Do game developers not realize that women are literally 50% of gamer population? Why do we always have to settle for less?
CDPR talked so much about meaningful relationships in the Cyberpunk 2077. And yet all those relationships are shallow and in the end, they DONT MEAN ANYTHING. Except for Panam. She got her own ending with V, for some reason.
On the other note, I only got CP2077 because it was supposed to be a great roleplaying game where choices matter and storyline is important. It’s such a bullshit. 99% of choices don’t matter at all. They don’t affect the world, they don’t affect the ending. CP2077 ending is right up there with Mass Effect 3 ending. It sucks. Oh, and all endings (all 5 of them I think) are pretty much the same. CDPR also talked that the game is going to be highly re-playable. Another BS. The game is super linear. And you know what, there is nothing wrong with that. But don’t advertise otherwise. I have such a high hopes for this game and it turned out to be a big fat lie.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing it. As an action game, it’s decent. But it’s not a role playing game. It’s not a good exploration game either (90% of locations stores,bars, buildings, etc are locked). It’s an action game with a linear story.
