Hey! Signed in to this blog on a. Whim since sometimes people reach out to my main to ask about my lotf musical. It was an early stint into the form when i was in high school/freshman year of college if i recall? Unfortunately a lot of those SoundCloud links are broken and i have lost the files bc my computer broke between then and now, but Simonâs song lives on as âspot in the forestâ on all streaming platforms for anyone curious.
I do still write musicals! Now with my fiancĂ© (our tumblr is here.) And I do still write a ton about homicidal teenagers. And Roger is still my favorite LOTF character haha. For anyone super new to this blog (somehow?) for reference I ran this in like, middle school to high school. Iâm in grad school now đ«Ą so the chances of me returning to a project I did almost a decade ago are alas slim!
BUT If i did ever write a lotf musical itâd probably be a lot weirder and more fucked up than my high school drafts đ but you all would be the first to know! I hope this helps clear things up, super sorry that those demos are lost to time. But thank you for making this fandom such a welcoming space to me as a young writer!
Also, I hope anyone else who wants to tries their hand at a LOTF musical! Consider this my blessing if anyone was waiting on it :) When i started mine iirc there had been previous musical projects by others too! Break a leg â yours or someone elseâs!
