Sundered Doctrine is so COOL

I mean maybe my opinion will sour with time, but I think it’s probably the third best dungeon (behind Warlord, and Vesper which is my personal favourite.)

It’s dripping with so much cool atmosphere and environments, the lore is so damn cool telling us how the Dread were made, the two bosses are so unique, like the Second Encounter boss is awesome visually and mechanically and my biggest gripe is that it’s not harder off contest.

It’s so cool to me, I love Rhulk stuff, I love Throne World Stuff and Dread stuff.

The raid and dungeon team don’t miss.

Oh boy that’s not Akka.

Heresy has me very interested and conflicted. First off all the guns while still remodels are gorgeous, and you’re telling me I can grind adept versions? Yes please! I just hope I like them in gameplay, give that arc denial frame attrition orbs and demo I beg of you, I’ll never use my Velocity Baton again.

I’ve been out of raiding basically since I beat Pantheon at +20 and sliding back in with VOG farming is perfect for me, especially because I gotta really do more Salvation’s Edge but just haven’t been in the groove.

Hearing they’re updating the way they deliver story in Apollo is great.

Drifter and Sloane running this is great, and more Dread! Yes more Dread give me all the Dread!

Then two conflicting bits, the Drifter dialogue in Nether. Not gonna talk about spoilers here but go find it if you wanna know.

Second the Star Wars collaboration… it doesn’t look like they’re trying to adapt Star Wars into Destiny, it just looks like Star Wars, and the community will reward them by buying it en masse.

Heresy has the chance to either be my favourite of these Episodes or my most hated based on story alone, but if they nail it, I’ll be so down.

Probably a bad take

I kind of liked tonics, at least conceptually. I get they were a bit of a buggy mess but it really takes me back to an earlier time in Destiny when there were more currencies and you had to run more of the game to unlock stuff, I liked that, and I sorta miss that from modern Destiny.

I hope instead of ditching the idea they run with with, especially with the artifact boosting stuff, it’s cool as hell.

This is my page just for posting at the start and end of Destiny seasons at this point, and I wanted to make sure I beat basically everything important this season before commenting on it for the whole 2 people who read this.

While there was some bad, that’s not very fun to focus on. I liked Fikrul dying finally, it’s closure to that story. I like the end of the Kell of Kells story. I like that Eramis is finally gone, I am very mixed on a lot of her appearances but I’m glad her character got a conclusion that fits her and she can go rebuild Old Riis. I like she didn’t try do redemption by death or anything like that. I like that Variks and Spider are back, my boys.

I liked all the core activities for the most part, though I’m a bit burned out.

I loved Vesper’s Host, it’s some of the most fun I’ve had in Destiny in a long time. No notes, perfect. Icebreaker rocks too.

Kell’s Vengeance was cool, I like that it was a short and sweet activity that got right to the point and had a fun boss fight. Cool thing, do more of that, it was fun as hell.

Better than Echoes.

I hope Heresy can bring the story back up to where I’d like it to be before Apollo. My money is on Akka getting the Echo.

Ok it’s impossible to ignore the narrative issues with Echoes…

But oh my god look at this, I love that they’re going all in on Vampire Lord Fikrul he even has the Dread Bats!

Onslaught being updated really is the cherry on top, if nothing else I’m eating this episode because it visually panders to me and I love Onslaught.

why does everyone assume all destiny players hate destiny. the damage "haha I hate destiny it's my favorite game" jokes has done tbh. no I actually like playing it I have fun that is the point of playing a video game. don't assume anything just because you're having an awful time

You know. I really actually didn’t like this season that much. The Coil was peak but Riven’s character writing to me was just not what I wanted.

It’s super sad because I was so hype and then Final Shape was peak. I’m hoping they reprise The Coil next year because it looks like they will.
