I'll try to sum up and prepare you for what you're gonna find on here - and if you like that stuff, too, I'd love to become mutuals with you ✨️💕
I've created sideblogs for:
Writing in general: @ash-de-vere
Destiny 2: @stuck-in-gambit-send-help
Assassin's Creed: @not-so-hidden-one
I'm in too many fandoms but to mention a few you might see:
Supernatural, Doctor Who, Arcane, Baldur's Gate 3, Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss, Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed, Marvel, Good Omens, Overwatch, Castlevania, Shadowhunters / TMI, OUAT, Star Wars, LotR / Hobbit, Bridgerton, ToG and probably many more I am forgetting atm
I also love posting about neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ stuff since I'm part of both of these communities
What fandoms and things I mostly reblog may change over time, depending on what is currently relevant (to me), but most of these have a permanent place reserved in my heart.
Oh btw, English isn't my native language, I'm German, so sometimes there might be some German posts and memes inbetween fandom-stuff.
Or just photography.
Yeahh.. There's no coherent aesthetic or order to this blog, just chaos. And vibes ✨️
Oh, it might happen that I repost stuff that some might consider NSFW - nothing too graphic, but words or implications or cut-off fan art, so keep that in mind.
Also, this is not a roleplay blog. Even though I have done it and am still up for it, this specific blog is just - me. Being myself. Reblogging and posting stuff I like ✨️ If I ever create a side-blog for rp I'll add it to this post, but until then there is no roleplaying happening here.
Check out the tags for more details about what I reblog and like if you're interested!
it's really gross how you can be self aware enough to know what's going on in your head but you can't actually stop it from happening. i need to grab it like a pigeon that got stuck in a house and throw it out the window. be free
ever since i was a little girl i knew i wanted to deny location sharing and turn off personalized ads and reject all non-essential cookies and not set up siri and face ID
#excuse me but are you telling me that the Apollo pic is made with the help of the SUN and the Artemis one with the help of the MOON??? #that's actually so poetic i want to cry
@gorandomshesaid wait i need to sit with this one. wait.
Simon "the butcher", who is horrified when he finds out he sentenced a man to death by pressing the camera button.
Simon "the butcher" who keeps apologizing for not knowing better, for causing harm to the people in the room, for being rightfully angry and lashing out, turning every knob and lever and pressing that damn button because why would it work when he doesn't have any power and why didn't they just Tell Him??
Simon "the butcher" who gets teary and has the look of a hurt child on his face when ava mentions filament station and his voice trembles when he is quick to say "that wasn't supposed to happen"...
Simon "the butcher" who apologizes to the sm-13, an inanimate object, after hitting the console.
Just... Simon being so unbeliebably human throughout the whole movie, it makes my heart ache for him
Amazing post, I kinda wanna piggy back with something.
Choosing the epithet "The Butcher" is a very deliberate choice. It's meant to depict him as a murder in the minds of the people that look negatively upon him, but that's not the only definition of butcher.
A butcher is also a necessary job to the food supply. They hack up parts of animals, they bleed them out, become covered head to toe with blood and gore. But for their dirty work, the best cuts of meat are produced.
no clue what causes pcos. no clue what causes endometriosis. 2 year waiting lists to see a gynecologist. you'd think female bodies only started existing 50 years ago
Still obsessing over that scene in Iron Lung when Ava is rapid-fire rattling off the login instructions for the computer and Simon just stops, stares blankly at the screen for a second, and then repeats the first bit of her explanation back to her, unsure, stumbling over his words, prompting her to repeat herself. Because it's just such a remarkably human moment. Simon isn't some action hero, he's not a trained soldier or an engineer. He's just a guy, with no clue what he's doing, trying to make sense of an impossible and terrifying situation. He's just a normal person trying to survive and it's like Ava is reminded of that is this moment as she very slowly repeats herself, giving him time to catch up. I love how human Simon is, how his personhood is so beautifully portrayed in every unremarkable detail. He has no idea what he's doing but he's trying, and the trying is the point. The trying is the thing worth living for.
Decided to rewatch Mark's Soma Let's Play because I loved it and it's got the psychological "humanity is gone and we're the last ones left" kind of horror like Iron Lung ... and the name of the protagonist is fucking SIMON
The divisiveness of Iron Lung is deeply confusing because evidently a bunch of Gen Z YouTube kids are way more tolerant of a slow pace than many grown adults with film degrees
