Beware of unmarked spoilers for KPop Demon Hunters!
A year after whatās dubbed the Saja incidents or something, thereās an Everyday Person (who Iād need to name and all that) doing their thing while living out their life in Seoul. Seems pretty normal, right?
For this person, itās weird to think about how the Saja Boys showed up to passive-aggressively upstage Huntr/x, let alone that some red flags about themālike not having backstories as far as the public arguably knewāwere overlooked.
By the way, in this universe, I imagine that the movieās climactic concert ends up being called something like the Namsan concert incident.
Thereās also rumors, testimony, and whatnot that calls the Saja Boys stuff to the tune of āthe Killer Idolsā because itās correctly believed in some circles that they were somehow trying to murder people during their final concert.
However, strange things begin to happen. Maybe it starts with people seeing silhouettes of the Saja Boys around Seoul? Maybe they seem to haunt technology with things such as their logo flickering across screens and āSoda Popā randomly playing on devices?
In any case, events dubbed the Saja hauntings are on, and nobody knows whatās happening. Huntr/x is probably puzzled out of their minds for the most part, but Rumi? Oh, man. A certain sacrifice probably has her feeling very torn about the so-called āhauntings.ā
Okay, so hereās where things really get crazy.
Plot twist! The Saja Boys survived the final battle, and theyāre indeed behind the hauntings.
Now remember the Everyday Person I mentioned? Yeah, theyāre also a descendant of one of the Saja Boys, arguably making them an heir to their legacy.
The person doesnāt know this, and neither do their living relatives, let alone other people they trust. Theyāre all in the dark here!
I donāt quite know what else would happen in The Killer Idols, but the Everyday Person would inevitably meets the titular idols right after the latest haunting. Chaos and hilarity ensues, with a dash of heartfelt angst thrown in.
Somehow, Huntr/x is dragged into everything, and I imagine the Everyday Person sheepishly apologizing for itāeven though itās not their fault at all.
Celine reformation arc perhaps? She could learn an important lesson or two from noticing how demons can be surprisingly human.
All the while, Bobbyās supporting Huntr/x like theyāre his daughters. I think he deserves all of the ābest K-pop manager of the yearā awards, but maybe Iām biased.
Letās be real, though. Thereād 1,000% be sightings of Derpy and Sussie.
