Tuesday Tip #3: Don’t force yourself.

Why wouldn’t she want to be an OTTER, WITH A DARK SIDE!? The thought of Luz obviously wanting Amity to try on the otter dress was too funny to me. Felt like a very Luz thing to do. Maybe Amity lost a bet or something. Or she just can’t say no to Luz, haha. Reblogs are always greatly appreciated you lovely people you!

I was trying to draw something pretty big and involved (and Owl House related), but I was having a pretty rough go of it. It just wasn’t coming out like I wanted. Instead of fighting with it, I decided to put it to the side for now and draw something simple and fun instead. This made me feel better, I’m rather happy with how it came out.

If you’re thinking “hey, didn’t you already post this?” Well…yes. Yes I did. But I received a comment on it that bothered me quite a bit if I’m being honest, so I wanted to delete the original and touch it up a bit. Fixing the issue that I didn’t think about with the first one, which was admittedly a bit embarassing. Normally I’d be the first person to say “don’t let one negative comment from some random person online effect you,” but what they took away from my original was not my intent or something I was even consciously considering, & I would absolutely hate it if others felt the same way as this person and THAT was what they took away from it. No thank you.
