What's the first thing that changes when they first realise they have feelings for the other?
Ok so Jason and Rose are in a kinda complicated situation where they're already exes and had a bad breakup in the past. They're chill now, they're pretty close and seem like they're at least fwb. So there are definitely already Some feelings there, but when one of them has the 'oh shit' moment where they realise they have romantic feelings that go beyond hooking up. I honestly think Rose would start avoiding Jason when she starts to feel like this (can't get hurt if you don't open up!) and Jason would have no idea why. They would both have a hard time opening up about their feelings, due to being hurt in the past and just the general habit of repressing their emotions. Once they get past the initial awkwardness things would be fine, and when they're officially a couple there'd definitely be more pda. To the point where their friends/teammates are begging them to just get a room.
What do they do when they're away from each other?
They definitely call each other a lot when they're apart. Whenever they have downtime or they're on a stakeout they'll just be chatting about whatever. Other than that they're fine with being apart, they're both used to working alone. I do think though, Rose keeps one of Jason's jackets with her and wraps it around herself to sleep.
So when they were a couple in Future State, their most common argument seemed to be whether they should kill people or not. I don't know if that really works in the present though. I think they have a lot of silly arguments like which takeout place is the best etc.
Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?
Honestly I think Rose would tell her family and Jason's family. She'd let it slip to her father when she wants to annoy him. And she'd be the one to tell Dick and Damian at least (Dick gives Jason the shovel talk when he finds out).
What do their friends/family think of their relationship?
Ohhhh Deathstroke is NOT happy. We saw his attitude to Jason in Deathstroke #4 (which I only read because Rose was in it). His daughter dating Batman's son? That's like his worst nightmare come to life. Jason is definitely not a snitch but that doesn't stop Slade from worrying that somehow the relationship will lead to Batman getting tipped off to one of his plans.
I can see Bruce having a similar reaction and worrying that Rose is spying on Jason for Deathstroke. But once he realises that isn't the case he'd probably be chill about it.
Dick would be supportive of their relationship. He was Rose's mentor and I'm sure he'd love to have her for a sister-in-law BUT he has seen Jason break people's hearts before and he doesn't want that to happen to Rose (again) so he gives Jason a very stern talking to about not messing her around.
Damian probably has a similar attitude. He truly does not care about other people's relationships but probably does tell Jason something like "if you hurt my friend they'll never find your body."
