jurassic batfam au pt. 3 the end part

In the third movie because this is a trilogy

Damian is about 12-13 and he stays with his dad during the week and his mom on the weekend Jason and his family's relationship has gotten a little better but he's still not comfortable sharing what he went through all of those years alone on the island and he doesn't come around often Anyway Damian being a nosey little boy discovers Tim's old files on the dinosaur island that his father and mother were both once involved in It's probably been so long that the world has just forced itself to forget those two tragedies but Damian is intrigued some sort of childish fantasy about riding into battle on a dinosaur, what battle?? No one knows. Anyway one week during the switch between father and mother house he slips away by telling his mother he was going to stay at father's house for the weekend and telling his father he was going to stay at his mother's house for the weekend and the next week as well His parents rarely communicate so he figures it's all good He's a rich kid so he's probably had some pilot training He brings his friend Jon They crash landing a few miles away from the coast of Bruce's original island (because flight lessons or not Damian is a child) and have to swim the rest of the way in long survival story short they end up being hunted by a pack of raptors and they have to hide in some old safehouse that seems to be the same one Jason stayed in when he was trapped. Damian counts the hundreds of tally marks on the wall and as tough as he tries to be he feels his heart sink into his stomach

Meanwhile two or three days later Bruce realizes Damian forgot something meaningless (he just kind of misses his kid) and Talia admits she thought he was with Bruce and Bruce's heart stops for at least a minute his mind goes to worst case scenario because he knows his son is a tiny terror. The family goes wild pulling up files and records and Tim finally notices one of bruce's planes are missing and that his Jurassic Park files have been hacked into

Ra's, who is revealed to have decided to return to his island in a giant private mansion confirms that his sensors haven't picked up on any planes nearby so everyone realizes he must've gone to the other island

The one Bruce hadn't been on since Jason presumably died all those years ago

They all agree to go, when they approach Jason for help he grumpily let's them know he'll never step foot on that island again and dick is barely able to get out a "but Damian" before the door is slammed in his face But it's ok because when they get to the hangar, Jason is there waiting for them but before dick can make any comment on how he really does care about their little brother Jason just let's them know he left a lot of stuff on that island and he doesn't want Damian to touch it, making the atmosphere awkward by reminding them Jason was a literal prisoner on that island for years Anyway they also crash land thanks to some harsh winds but it doesn't deter them from hunting the boys down like pros (well Jason does because he knows this islands and knows how to hunt)They eventually find them huddled up in Jason's safe house

Damian pounces on them like he's going for the kill but then he gets really emotional (even though he tries to hide it) when he realizes who it is. They all huddle up and try to come up with a plan, they settle on reaching the communication tower and sending a message to Ra's asking for help

Um, Bruce and dick notice Jason's tally marks and dick gets visibly emotional while Bruce is internally emotional

In some touching end scene Bruce tries to sacrifice himself to save Jason and he just yells out “I'm sorry” but jason is having none of it and makes some last minute risky decision to save them all that shouldn't work but does because it's a movie and then on the boat ride back Jason and Bruce finally hug and there's three movies worth of fun stuff all randomly generated by roja

Anyway Jason, some how not dead

Becomes just as jaded and bitter as Bruce was if not more so He is very injured and only has the tattered remains of the old labs to tend to himself with He manages to avoid most dinosaurs by learning their habits and moving with themHe probably befriends a dinosaur,, like Owen and his raptors,, but it's just like a very small sauropod,,, it is his Best friend because he has been trapped on this danger island all alone and he is only a boy. Anyway one day while dinoboy Jason Todd is lurking around the old labs a group of very nicely dressed men bust in and start carting stuff off

He is very curious

It is a new company owned by a man named Ra's Al Ghul, Ra's appreciated the dinosaur island idea and wants to recreate it only bigger and better. He won't make the same mistakes that idiot Wayne did (and Jason has to be restrained from biting his nose off) but eventually Jason and Ra's come to an agreement , Jason will help Ra's decipher all of this information and use the dinosaur cloning equipment but Jason gets to be in charge of the science hands down Ra's agrees with the addition of Jason coming back with him and taking a shower and Jason could almost hug him (almost) Jason works very closely with Ra's daughter Talia (who is constantly mothering him and it's the worst but also secretly not the worst) to repair and optimize the equipment while designing the layout and technology of the dinosaur enclosures,, this takes several years but considerably less years than Ra's anticipated thanks to Jason who has prior experience behind the scenes of dinosaur parks

MEANWHILEBruce and Dick are attempting to help the world in ways that have absolutely nothing to do with dinosaurs

Wayne industries here probably aligns more with the actual Wayne industries just helping with everything. And Bruce is almost happy (almost) he has a new assistant that's a genius and is practically running the company himself, his name is Tim he's great. Dick loves him and so does Bruce (deep down inside) but his nice curious side also reminds Bruce of Jason so it's shrug emoji town

But once Bruce starts to slowly try to put his terrible dinosaur past behind him Ra's starts advertising his park and Bruce just pales instantly

He is rich so of course he flies out there with his boys(dick does not want to be there but Tim is curious ™)Ra's meets them at the docks

He tells them he was expecting them

They're lead into the park and Ra's shows off all the state of the art containment areas for all their different types of dinosaurs. Bruce and Dick keep trying to tell Ra's that no matter what he does the dinosaurs will escape Tim keeps asking questions about the technology and the concepts and Ra's is honestly only replying to Tim. They finally reach the labs and Bruce is like ok ignoring the fact that you somehow stole my parents research what makes you so sure you know more about these dinosaurs than I do

And Ra's has the most ridiculous smile like hes been waiting the whole tour for this ONE questions he turns dramatically and he's like

"because i have the number one dinosaur behavior consultant in the world, unfortunately you didn't have the fortune of having someone who's lived among wild dinosaurs for years but thanks to you, /I/ did. Isn't that right, Jason?" And everyone turns towards the doorway at the exact same time with very different expressions directed at the much older Jason Todd with the dash of white at the top of his head

Bruce and Dick just turn white like all of the life has been sucked out of them Ra's looks smug like we all knew he would and Tim is honestly staring at the mini dinosaur hovering behind the man

Anyway long story short Bruce and Jason have an argument (wow plot twist), dick has a soft moment with Jason's pet dinosaur and also Jason because damn that's his lil brother, Bruce is a mess of emotions and he meets Talia and they have an awkward sex scene that sets everyone up for the next movie, the dinosaurs do break out, Jason's dinosaur sacrifices themself to save Jason

They all escape the island, they agree never to speak of it again, but Tim recorded a bunch of data that he plans on archiving

They get back to Gotham and Dick kind of wants them all to be a good family again but Jason is bitter about his friend and he has mixed feelings about seeing his family again and there's probably a little bit of relief that he didn't get left behind again but he has to sort through these emotions so he leaves without them

so anyway first let's set it up bc this is obv a trilogy

Um Thomas and Martha probably Kickstart the Jurassic Project with all sorts of funding and hype Bruce is young but i mean he's all for dinosaurs what kid doesn't love dinosaurs Um Martha and Thomas suddenly discover something that makes them doubt this project and the ethics behind it?? They're planning on backing out and they make it known the dinosaur scientists are not happy But then that iconic night in the alley happens and the scientists swear not to tell a word so the concept of Wayne Industry backing out of the project dies with them

Um Bruce grows up bitterly as usual but a little less of a batsuit Instead he pours 100% of his mind into creating the perfect dinosaurs to entertain and educate the world because to his best knowledge that was what his parents were striving for

The Park opens and is a bug success for several years There are a few bumps and hiccups but nothing too substantial

The flying Grayson's worked for the park, they'd do dynamic airshows with a family of pterosaurs. During one show the dinosaurs got a little um grumpy and it didn't turn out so great. The scientists eager to continue their research rule it a one time only accident attributing it to other random factors like a camera light setting them off or the type of food they'd been fed that morning

Anyway the pterosaurs are put down and Bruce in the spur of the moment adopts a young dick Grayson hoping to bring him some comfort and show him how good dinosaurs can be

But dick is always just a little wary around them

Bruce meets Jason when the kid is detained in his office for trying to break into the park, his only excuse is that he "really really wanted to see a dinosaur"Anyway after a few calls around to determine Jason's family situation he is also adopted and Bruce let's him see all the dinosaurs he wants and they are a happy family of three for awhile

Anyway like all Jurassic theme parks several things go wrong at once and suddenly they're running for their lives through the forest from literally everything

During this whole shit show Bruce stumbles upon a letter or video of his parents condemning the whole project and he's just kind of torn because he dedicated so much of his life towards building and maintaining it because he thought it was what they would've wanted and it just leaves him in shock for awhile eventually he decides to turn his back on the whole island they'll evacuate everyone blow it up and escape and Jason, who is a small nerd is so confused that Bruce doesn't want to salvage what he's created it leads to a small rift between them

Anyway in the process of escaping Jason falls from some place high or a dinosaur grabs him and launches him half way across the jungle. Either way he is very strongly presumed dead and Bruce is seething rage

In the end they don't blow up the island but Bruce and dick escape along with whoever else is still alive

They're a little bruised and bloodied but they're just barely alive Bruce silently thinks of this massive island of dangerous things as like?? A grave for jason who loved it so much ??It's declared a nature preserve by the government so no one is allowed within a certain perimeter of it

the ground rumbles it cracks my fist bursts through i claw my way out head first anyway jason peter todd probably has some serious psychological issues(aside from the obvious ones) around people laughing near him without him knowing what it's about like most people have a little anxiety about this but I feel like it'd just do a lot to jason? like you get beat to death and blown up and the only sounds are a maniacal clowns laughter and your groans of pain and I mean it's gonna leave an impact when the building blew up and his ears were ringing for the few seconds he was still conscious and the only noise he could recall in his hazy lil mind was the raucous laughter of his murderer anyway he's 100% adverse to anyone laughing around him He probably doesn't even laugh himself for a long time Um the BatFam doesn't really pick up on this particular quirk until he's warmed up to them a little more because until then he's not really around them much like  when he's showing up for dinner or spending the night when he's too tired to go home idk like steph will whisper something to Tim about Damian's weird hair and Tim will laugh but just a little and Jason on the other side of the room tenses up and leaves abruptlyI mean he probably feels the urge to lash out at Tim or Steph as usual but he knows he'll get a barrage of questions and he's not ready to admit to having such a pathetic thing make him uncomfortable damian, who's momther knew Jason for awhile when he was fresh out of hell, is probably aware of jason's aversion to laughter and definitely thinks it's pathetic but is mostly respectful of it because he just barely likes Jason more than Tim and he addresses the problem to the family who he's noticed are making Jason more and more uncomfortable without noticing and then they start paying attention and they try their best to make Jason feel a little less anxious by including him in whatever inside jokes or whatever not laughing is almost impossible but they hope letting Jason know what they're laughing about will make him feel better and it does and he kind of relaxes idk this whole thing leading up to jasons first time laughing since he died being because Tim is half asleep and he does something stupid and Jason just starts laughing and he can't stop and damian starts laughing because Jason has a ridiculous laugh and Tim gets all defensive like hey I'm doing my best and Bruce comes downstairs and sees all his boys laughing together and it warms his lil heart and dick who wakes up ten hours later hears all about it from Bruce and dick is so upset that he wasn't present for this magical moment

Dicks circus was probably ten times more fun with animal quirks and blah blah blah and this is gonna be super weird but for dick and his family they're just like,,, rubber People His mom could bend into any shape and his dad just,,, bounces off of any surface and dick can do both So they're just perfect acrobats cause they still need skill but they can't get hurt to bad anyway Dicks parents get shot in the air and plummet to the ground Like I don't wanna go into physics right now but I'm trying to figure out how getting shot would work if things bounce off of John I mean I guess you could shoot a bouncy ball and pierce it in some scenarios

Let's pretend this isn't a question and move on Dick gets adopted by Bruce and dick doesn't even really have super hero-ing on the mind but he knows he's bitter and upset and Bruce recognizes it and sends him to an actual school for heroes But obviously he has to have a secret identity So he goes by Robin And everyone's like 'why aren't you rubber band boy' and he's like 'csuse I'm fuckign Robin that's why' anyway he meets all his Titan pals cause dick is a fuckign delight and everyone loves him even if he's a little less open about his home life Now once again the flying Grayson's we're famous but I wanna say their quirks weren't well known cause if you knew there was no danger in the trapeze act why even watch I guess people are stupid and then and I'm not sure how canon this could be but dicks like,,, a rromani imigrant so I mean,,, he could just not have his quirk registered until he starts to live with Bruce and they could register him as literally anything else while Robin registers with the real Grayson quirks

Anyway the first time Batman picks up Robin the class nearly pees their pants like holy shit dude why didn't you tell us So Robin gets all the same gadgets and a suit that fits his quirk a little better and he's at the Gotham hero academy or something He probably did great at the sports festival my good boy And then when picking an internship everyone's super surprised that Batman didn't request him but Robin's like oh he wants me to experience how other heroes work and he probably works with Superman or Wonder woman and their different ways of doing things kinda put little seedlings in his head

Then he finally gets to work with Bruce in the field and they're a perfect well oiled machine for a few years but I mean they start to but heads eventually and they separate, dick taking on the Nightwing persona and just bending and jumping his way out of there he stays with the same agency and has to interact with Bruce on a daily basis but they're still kinda stiff

I'm gonna start with Bruce and then do each of the boys later Bruce has the same basic set up His parents we're killed by a super villain when he was young His parents definitely weren't heroes they were like,, hero investors I want to say Like they fund people and own several hero agencies and pay for any damages their heroes cause Bruce has a really subtle quirk that u haven't decided on but it's really not suited for super hero work But Bruce is a hard ass so he decides he'll do it anyway He trains extra hard all over the world under the guise of being a ridiculous party boy and then he becomes a super hero ,,, well a vigilante He's considered a criminal for using his 'quirk' without regulation and saving people without a permit but no one can actually figure out what his quirk is I mean they kinda guess but it isn't correct Like there are probably internet polls and no one can tell there are probably eraserhead-like quirks and when they try to use it on him nothing happens and it's terrifying The most popular answer is something about him moving silently through the night Like how in most versions of Batman he just silently appears and disappears through the shadows some people go as far to say he can see through any Shadow and he always knows what you're doing Idk he's a force to be reckoned with it takes awhile for him to become an official hero but he still refuses to reveal his identity He's forced to reveal his quirk but like,,, in the anime all might says people misinterpret their quirks sometimes and I guess there's no  way to check so he probably tells them what he can do but he twists it around so it can't be connected to himself if that makes sense?? Anyway what Bruce can actually do now it's kind of ,,, I wanna say a party trick kinda quirk, like it's nothing too big or intrusive that'll put people off and he probably does mess around with it at parties when he's in his Playboy persona, just like some cool slight of hand thing that he does to entertain people sometimes
