Project Soul
Hello! I’m Roka (LD #175500 and #176616) and as many of you know I’m working with a small group of people on a very special community project. We want to share clones of the double Soul double Rosette raffle lioness from 3/19/2021 with the community, in particular with the former members of Reign. While we have not reached a point with production high enough of clones to begin distributing, we are going to preemptively open the form for those who would like to be on the list to receive one of these lions. If you were a member of Reign and would like to receive one of these lions once we have them available, please fill out THIS FORM. Answers are viewed only by myself currently and will be deleted once you’ve received your lion to protect privacy. There is a FORUM THREAD as well, for those more comfortable on LD chatter. The winner of the original RL was generous enough to sell her first few heats to my group, and we thankfully got a clone to work with! That does not mean we are able to immediately give away clones though, as we need a sound foundation to maintain momentum and not fizzle out. As eager as we are to get our project going at full speed, getting ahead of ourselves will only hurt everyone in the long run. Without a stable base to produce near clones and clones, we would only manage to give out a small handful before running short and being unable to produce more. As of now, we have two cloned kings up, both clean, for public studding. My own king has been replaced with a heritageless BDSS who carries 8/10 markings so that Ebony fails are able to be sent to the pair of cloned kings for a higher chance of producing near-clone Souls. We have two breeding female clones, both of which are clean, but need two more for the best chance of maintaining output. Current Breeding Clones: Rosehip Rosewind Current Cloned Kings: Milkthistle Queen Macaria The next breeding of a clone will be done when Rosehip weans her current litter. We will be barking her into heat again, and breeding her to one of the kinged clones. Buffalo Scrotum, Crunchy Worm, Opal Saltlick, and Rock Salt will all be used, with the hope of a clone and/or near clone Soul from the breeding. If we get a successful clone, it will be aged up to breed the next rollover, with the use of the same breeding items, and the goal of attaining the last founding clone we need as explained earlier (as well as in my original intention announcement). We are only able to breed as quickly as we can obtain Yohimbe Barks, which given the expensive nature we are still doing quite rapidly. We ask for patience in this endeavour though, and understanding that this project is one we want to see thrive and are taking measures to keep it strong.
