So I got covid.
I have a high fever, cough and can barely get out of bed.
But in a twisted way, I'm happy. You know why? Because i have lost my appetite.
This is how much an eat!ng d!s0rder changes you...
i got covid after a vacation with my family and secretly felt so relieved that i didnโt have an appetite bc i had eaten so much the week before.

in my brain I think of ed tumblr as one big apartment building and we all just pass each other in the elevator like hey how's the suffering going,, not bad, you? and people keep getting evicted or moving out but eventually end up back here cause who tf can afford to live anywhere else

making myself an ed journal and it's so cute
it's so cute ong, i got a scrapbooking kit that comes with 114 pieces and it's all so cute like i'm gonna enjoy this so much!! i set aside about 10 pages in the back to collect nutrition labels of my fear foods and safe foods. it's literally the cutest part (aside from the cover, like did u see that??? it's adorable)
on the first page i put a list of all my rules (not shown bc i don't want to encourage anyone's ed, simply show off my cute journal) and i'm just gonna do daily entires on how i did that day, my weight, and future goals along with my motivations (also have a few pages with thinspo clips but again not showing)
IM JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!!!

Some of my reasons
To be able to shop online and not worry about it being too small.
To be light, so people can carry me
To never have to stress about people asking my weight
To be able to wear cropped tops, without being insecure
To be small
To feel fragile and dainty
To not have to worry in p.e. because my boobs bounce
To be able to fit through small spaces
To never have to suck in ever again
To not worry about how I look when I have to change in front of others
To feel proud in my body
To not feel subconscious when I go to the beach/pool/etc
To be feel worthy of peopleโs care
So that my legs look good in tight jeans
So that I donโt have to dress up to look pretty
So that my skin clears up(less oils/fat, better skin)
So that people actually like me, and find me attractive
To be look feminine, feel like a girl
So that no one is bothered when I do eat
To be able to wear smaller ring sizes
To be able to see my ribs
So that my collarbones stick out all the time, necklaces would look so much better
So I can wear tops that show my arms, and not worry about them being chubby
To have people worry about me
And last, but not least, so that my facial features are more defined
Imagine:
- sitting on someoneโs lap without feeling uncomfortable or to heavy.
- fitting in old clothes.
- wearing a small size.
- being the skinniest in your friend group.
- other people getting jealous of your body.
- other people using you as inspiration.
- not feeling uncomfortable changing in front of others.
- your s/o holding your waist or thigh.
one of the worst things about eds is the constant inner conflict between the rational and the irrational part of your mind.
i want people to notice that i'm unwell, but at the same time i don't want people to bother me. i want to be free, but at the same time i don't want to let my ed go. i feel like i need to be hospitalized to prove that my ed is serious, but at the same time i don't want to end up in hospital. i want to reach my ugw, but i know that if i do reach it, i'll be forced to gain all the weight back so there's no point in doing so.
living with an eating disorder means living with a constant war in your mind, this shit is exhausting as fuck.

hearing someone in an ed documentary say "I tried so hard to find satisfaction through other accomplishments but nothing measures up to this one" really hits you hard
whos gonna tell some of yall that body dysmorphia isnt just about thinking you're fat. it's more to do with an unstable self image. i feel like i'm skinny after i starve and then feel like i've gained 30 lbs after looking in the general direction of an oreo. the dysmorphia doesn't go away because i think i'm skinny sometimes, that is STILL dysmorphia
My anorexia is divided in periods: the restriction, the bingeing and now the fasting. I didn't think eating disorders could have so many shades.
mine does the same thing. i get deep into it, then i had a โnormal few daysโ with my family and then i go back to normal for a couple months until the relapse hits again. then iโm back in the deep end
my thighs send me into a visceral rage.
seeing the fat jiggle when they move makes me wanna sob.
i just want small legs. is that too much to ask?
