like when did building a shed become such a chore. Like it was easier when me an the fam went and resurrected gram-gram for a sick tea party. Like what happened to just holding up the four walls and putting a screw through the corners, and taping on the roof.
Like the past few years i have seen like no fire-flies, do they even still exist, i use to love watching them light up and stuff
Binders
When you have one of those 3-ring binders, and at the beginning of the year its all good, nicely organised. But once you start getting close to exams, you finally see just how full those binders get. So much paper. Sometimes you try to open up to a certain page near the back of the binder too fast and half of its contents spill out. No matter how organised or if you dated each page, you never are able to o get it fully fixed. And you just deal with this painful heap of trash, that contains all essential info till the end of your course.
Snow. Where is it?
When it’s winter and nature is giving ya the cold, the harsh winds, but refuses to give you any snow. Like i can deal with the cold, but only if i can see the world get 100x more amazing from blankets of snow. When it refuses to snow, it is just straight miserable.
Like I know wearing jeans and looking nice is good and all, but nothing feels better than when you get home and jumping straight into some nice soft pajamas.
Slippers
When you get a new pair of slippers and you realise how much softness your old pair has lost.
Squirrels
Do you ever just meet eyes with a squirrel and just stand there staring at each other for what seems like hours until one of you blinks.
When you start to think your internet provider people things are conspiring to do maintenance at the worst times possible just to screw with you.
You know the times when your in a group of people and all of ya are talkin and changing stories.
And you remember one of your best stories that you know will impress/entertain everyone there.
But you have to wait till someone is done telling their own story, and once they are finished just as when you are about to cut in,
someone else beats you to it and you have to wait.
And you get so fixed to this person’s story or the topic they are talking about that you completely lose your train of thought of like half of your story.
So, when you finally are able to tell this story you thought would be great to tell.
you end up stuttering or missing half the story and you end up feeling like it was such a waste.
The goods and bads of having a terrible memory for names
Well first off there is not goods, unless you can forget completely about a person and their existence.
The bads are you basically feel terrible when talking to the forgotten named people and having to avoid any conversation the requires saying their name. There is actually very little times when their name is needed in a conversation. And most can never tell that you have forgotten their name, but in the small chance they do notice it is usually two types of reaction by them. They either freak out and call you self centred for forgetting about them, or they are very kind and understanding and tell you their name flat out. The second is the most usually seen reaction, but i have had the first happen to me a couple of times. It is not a good feeling.
Oh i have found a few goods that come out of this. You get really good at coming up with short used nick names for people.
Glasses
I’m kinda new to wearing glasses, i recently found my eyes were not focusing very well. So i went and did the thing. And got glasses. And like it’s very nice to be able to focus on looking at things again, and on the plus side I've gotten complement on how glasses help to fill up my face and stuff?
Kinda have no idea where i was going with this, and i cant think of anything to add to it, so ima just post it.
Drawing/sketching
Like 2 years ago i kinda gave/stopped drawing and I've completely regretted it. Like i completely forget everything, my skill wasn't all that great to start with but wow, now i am just garbage. Whateves, I kinda been trying to get into it again. Cause i am barely ever busy, so probably it would be a better thing to try doing rather then sitting around watching anything i can find on youtube.
A few types of long distance runners
I find that there is usually two types of successful long distance runners, whether track n field or cross country. There is the runner who knows every type of shoe, running shoes and even types of boots just from looking at them. They know the ins and outs of almost every shoe and its exact name and when it came out. They can give vivid detail of the strengths and weaknesses of most shoes.
Then there’s the runner who literally couldn't tell you anything about shoes other then what brand it is. They are the type of person who goes to any store that sells running shoes or just ordinary shoes, tries a few on, and picks whatever feels best.
(of course the second type of runner usually always comes out with one of the best types of shoes or one of the worst, i have not observed any quality in between.)
Of course these are only two of the main types of successful long distance runners i have observed.
The urge to organise
That random feeling when you realise its been a couple weeks since you organised your room, and end up spending your entire weekend sorting desk draws, rearranging all of your stuff, and all folding all of your cloths.
Running
Hyping yourself up all day for your run, only because you cant find any other time to listen to music
Popcorn
When you finished off all the popcorn in the bowl so you start liking the remaining salt off the bottom. Its all fun and games until you decide to stick your own head into the bowl to like some good salt. And you end up coughing and blow salt into your eyes. Now your eyes are burning and your heads stuck in a bowl.
