Calligraphy work shop.

I made several names from top to bottom, Ralph / Harry / Sacha B. / India Vingoe / Park Jihyun / Reuben / Saskia Martindale

into Korean Syllables which are quite geometrical. They are quite distorted but recognisable. It was really useful to try out the paper cut outs because I learned a lot about how I can actually applicate the shape of Korean language in unusual way.

For Cause and Effect Project, I thought Chinese whisperer game is kind of similar the way people spread rumour. And even though we hear about weird rumours, we don’t know how they are generated. So I thought it would be interesting to mimic the process of making rumours. 

The instructions are

1. Gather up the name of people that plays the game.

2. Randomly pick people’s name and pick the card.

3. Start by general sentence with a word card that you picked.

4. Pass the book to next person.

5. When you got another book, read the sentence and pick a card and start making rumours about that person. 

6. Rotate around untill you get your horrible rumour book.

7. The one that has most horrible rumour made wins the game.

RULES: NO RUDE RUMOURS UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY CLOSE TO THAT PERSON!
