I should probably make a post about the blog now that it's not empty...

Hi, you can call me Lumiere or Rondo. I'm a self-taught artist, and I'm still only a beginner. I don't post often, since I'm very busy, but I'm trying to draw and post more. I like: Gundam, Guardian Tales, Deltarune (but mostly Susie and suselle).

This blog is just for posting art. So I don't really follow anyone, or give kudos/reblogs to other blogs here, I'll probably use my main for that.

Hey there! Finished Chapter 5, and well, as I was playing it, I thought about what you said in an earlier ask:

"for Susie and Noelle, I think it works best as friendship because it adds 'genuinity' to it. Kris has no ulterior motives to help them or hang out with them; they're just happy to make their friends happy."

I thought of this well because, did you see how supportive Kris was of Suselle?!?!?!

What with them exclaiming how they want to see Susie and Noelle hit the bell, them giving a glowing review (i.e. saying "ME LIKE!!!!") to Berdly's poem about him wanting Susie to be with Noelle, and if you went to the diner with Susie in the previous Chapter, they'll encourage Susie to bring Noelle next time. That and if you make them and Susie go on the ferris wheel they'll even do something for Noelle watching, whether it be hearts or inspiring her to make rude gestures at each other in a fun little manner!

Funny how ppl think that Kris would be resentful or jealous of those two, and yet we've seen nothing from them but passionate and unwavering support for Susie and Noelle's romance!!!

im not sure about Kris not being jealous.. but they do seem to want to help Susie and Noelle

Sorry for asking this, but what is it about Kris's character, personality, or their relationships with Noelle, Susie, Ralsei, and so on that inspires you to think that they would work so much better as aromantic relationships instead of romantic ones?

Just curious to hear your thoughts!

hmmm for one, I don't think Kris takes romantic relationships seriously? their characteristic ACT is flirting, which gives the feeling that they dont care about it too much. (it also makes it hard to see them actually settling for someone)

I also think making their relationships with people romantic kind of.. waters things down? Not that I think friendship is superior to romance, or vice versa. But for Kris, it feels like its simplifying their feeling for people to make it about attraction. Turning their love for people into shipbait

I think kralsei is fine, Im just unsure about Ralsei's attraction for Kris (feels sudden, and Ralsei doesn't care about anyone else but the 2 lightners he knows, that doesn't feel healthy) for Susie and Noelle, I think it works best as friendship because it adds 'genuinity' to it. Not that I dont think Kris doesn't feel any sort of romantic attraction for any of them, but I still think they work best as friends than lovers (and maybe even Kris knows that) If you want an example, look at Mettaton and Alphys. You could argue Mettaton likes her, but in the end they still end up as just friends, and Mettaton accepts thats for the best I like that! the complexity and nuance of relationships matters more than me than shipping.
