Shade Sail Roof Anchors Built to Hold Through Every Australian Season
A shade of sail is only as solid as the points hold it up. Weak anchor points mean sagging sails, pooling rainwater, and unnecessary stress on roof tiles and fascia. Over time, a poorly anchored sail causes more damage than it prevents.
A proper shade sail roof anchor connects directly into the roof's rafter and wall top plate, where structural strength sits. Roof Extenda designs and manufactures anchors built around this principle, giving every shade sail a connection point worth relying on.
How the Anchor System Works
The load from a shade's sail pulls constantly, and that pull needs to go somewhere solid. These anchors transfer force straight into the roof frame rather than onto tiles or fascia boards. Each anchor is strength tested and can withstand up to 2.3kN of force through the top holes and up to 1.3kN through the middle holes. Weather seals are included to keep every roof penetration watertight.
Why Our Anchors are Worth It
Every product is designed and manufactured in Australia, built for local conditions, and tested to perform. The coating system uses SurTec 704 and 688 plating, sealed with a SurTec 555S passivate sealer for long-term durability.
