not to give you advice w/o knowing your situation, and idk if you tried this already, but if i were you id try call the hospital/clinic/whoever is charging you & ask for a line-by-line breakdown of the bill. most of the time they include a bunch of BS charges that if you point them out they'll get rid of. good luck <3

no absolutely thank you so much for the advice!! my family and i are in the depths of having to deal with medical bills and this advice helped us a couple of months ago actually!! unfortunately with this blood panel it’s less about them charging me for random shit and more just my insurance deciding they were no longer going to cover some of the tests that i need done every couple of months :// and because they’re more in depth and require more, they’re quite a bit more expensive then just a regular test. i’m trying to work with the office for some sort of payment plan but it’s going to completely tank my credit :// it’s a bit of a mess but i appreciate the advice so much ♥️♥️♥️

i didn’t want to have to do this literally ever again but my insurance has decided to no longer cover a critical blood panel that i need done ASAP. i’m so lucky i don’t have to pay the full amount for my appointments and tests but my insurance has been retroactively denying so many critical things i need done. i feel so embarrassed having to ask for anything at all. but there is just no way i can make up the full amount with such a short turn around. if there is any way some help can be sent my way, i would be so internally grateful. i know so many of us are struggling with this exact problem so please know that i’m aware that i’m asking for quite a lot. but anything helps!!
