I mostly lurk and look at other's art. But sometimes I'll post some of my better sketches or paintings.

Do you have a tutorial or anything in how you do that awesome gradient watercolor-esque texture on your art?

not… really? but like

i just do all my line work and coloring in different shades of blue ( or any color of choosing) like 

and then add this texture ( i literally use it on ALL my art now ) as the very top layer set as overlay

( resize to fit the canvas ) 

and get this 

and then i use another editing program called photoscape to auto contrast and get this

OR auto level to get this 

and also add a bloom glowing effect for the final result

DRAW IT AGAIN CHALLENGE!! I took a picture from about a decade ago and gave it a revamp. I recommend doing this. It was cool to see how much has changed.

Ramona redesign.

Another new picture of Mia. I decided to revamp her superhero suit to fit more with her environment. The colors are lighter to suit the desert. She has magical gauntlets with sigils for protection and success on them. She has some pockets and a knife for practical use, and a communicator on her arm band to help her contact her friends if needed. All in all, I really like this version.

Here's Eric. One of the last plot important characters I'm designing. He is such a cutie.

This is Ramona's twin brother Abe. He works with the city's beautification department, making plants grow around their desert oasis. Abe isn't as talented as his sister with magic, except when it comes to plants. I'm still thinking of a name for the city these characters all live in....I'm not getting many ideas...well I'm getting plenty of character ideas....just not city names.

My next character, Ramona. She's a very powerful witch and friends with Fennec and Mia. When they need a more adult person to help with things like driving, Ramona is the reliable choice. These characters are all part of my still unnamed fictional world.

I finally drew some adults! Since I really enjoyed drawing Fennec, I wanted to draw his family as if they were posing for a photo. Fennec is really annoyed at his father. This is all from my fictional world that is still unnamed.

This is Satoshi. He is a bound ghost, stuck in the back garden of the Vulpini residence. He's another character from my fictional world. The top half of his body is a mist while the darker material in his wrists and lower half is ectoplasm.

This is Fennec. His real name is Charles, but he hates that name. He's a magical genius at just 13 years old and is good friends with Mia Sola (another of my characters).
