Is it strange to still send letters? Like the time and age have not weathered us and have not given us more years than most can claim? Even now, knowing this letter will just rest on the pillow, delivery through the waves and curls rather than countries, until it brightens your morning. Postage given in the years you have gifted me rather than coin.

In these quiet moments, the nights where sleep evades me as much as our year in the Lighthouse, it's easy to see the brilliance that I avoided. Months spent wandering dark halls, ducking when I heard the tread of your wheels because seeing you invited scrutiny, for even in the grief and turmoil of that time, you missed nothing.

Something that I am eternally thankful for - because you could see something in me that no one else could.

It’s a signal that you need a nap, need to allow for more sleep at night, need to prioritize and scale back on what you can accomplish in a day, need to take a mental health day or even a leave.

Something’s got to give.

But!

It’s not your self worth.

So basically I was so consumed by work on my enormous queue (stupid expensive court fee) that I forgot to open commissions in time. Right now I am low on food and drinking water, need to pay my lawyer before April 30th and I have no money for rent before May 10th, so I would REALLY appreciate any sketch commissions. I need approximately 400$, half of it before May. I'm currently finishing most of the sketches in the queue but it's a little bit tough with painted pieces this month so if you want one, I have only 1-2 slots for May.
