Today’s aesthetic: keeping the same tab open in your browser for three solid weeks because you’re definitely going to get around to reading and/or acting on whatever’s in it any minute now.
This is a personal attack.

Like i KNOW pride and prejudice is the fan favorite, and everyone loves certified awkward dumbass mr.darcy but you have to give some credit to captain frederick wentworth who literally just, ignores the lady hes madly in love with while simultaneously writing her a letter telling her how much he loves her while theyre both in the same god damn room, and THEN he leaves but comes back like haha oopsie forgot my gloves :) shoves the letter in her hands and runs out the door, what a guy
BUSTER KEATON in SHERLOCK, JR. (1924) “Keaton told film historian Kevin Brownlow that one scene inspired the entire picture: a man, in this case, a projectionist, tries to enter the movie he is watching. At first he can’t; the characters in the film he is watching throw him out of the screen. When he sneaks back in he suddenly finds that he has no control over the narrative: a nighttime scene in a garden cuts without warning to a busy city street, then to a mountain cliff, then to a jungle filled with lions, to a desert, etc. It is a scene with a precision and clarity that is breathtaking. Keaton, his cameramen, and technical director Fred Gabourie filmed it with surveying equipment to align the separate elements… It may be the first time a filmmaker ever questioned the meaning and function of linear narrative.” — Daniel Eagen
that’s it folks
how dare you
I know posts are being made about it already, but if you don’t already know, 24 year old Robert Fuller was found hanging from a tree in Palmdale, CA at 3:30 in the morning on Monday near Palmdale city hall. His death is being ruled a suicide by authorities but his family and community are far from convinced by this ruling, especially considering that no autopsy has been performed. Authorities are blaming the COVID-19 pandemic for causing the emotional despair that lead to his supposed suicide. The crowd at a press conference in the city regarding his death on Friday claimed that he had marched in Black Lives Matter protest days before he was found hanging from a tree. It’s clear that they trying to sweep this under a rug considering that a black man being lynched amidst BLM protests across the country and deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor on lots of minds would add lots of fuel to the fire already burning. Please share what’s going on in that city today and demand justice and some real answers. It’s 2020 and black people are being hung from trees like it’s the 1950s. Enough is enough. just thinking about when priya made kadhi (without pakora! but that's beside the point) on BA and the title of the video was "creamy Indian soup" and when she made aloo paratha on some other channel it was called "Indian potato flatbread" l m a o which white editors made her do that 🤔🤔🤔
the fact that sohla was hired at bon appetit for $50K/year and doesn’t get paid for video appearances like her white colleagues is digusting. anyways here’s a montage of her cooking circles around everyone at ba pic.twitter.com/uzZsRMGIwf

#the pure eroticism of this scene #she despised him #or thinks she does #and he is absolutely drowning in his love for her #the way he looks at her #she looks at him #full of disdain and curiosity #this man who matches her remarks #her witty comments #word for word #challenges her #the strain of dancing together #while having a full on argument #she tries to bring him down #and he looks at her like she’s a story and he’s just learned how to read #full of wonder and enraptured #now #now they circle each other #they only have eyes for each other #everyone else has melted away #all that’s left is them
