Hummingbird photos post for Sunday — with both Dalton and Persephone (and Persephone)… They really are ruby throated hummingbirds, despite the light never being quite right to show that Dalton's gorget is red.

Plus, I just cleaned and refilled the feeder.

One of the last times I went out to pick the blueberries, I heard a familiar buzz, and looked over my shoulder to see Dalton sitting on a random branch by leaning up against the fence. Well, it was post blueberry picking as I was 'relaxing' on the patio furniture that isn't on the patio, and this time I had my camera.

Also, obligatory shots of Persephone at the feeder. Still Queen of the feeder!

I sat upstairs on the landing of our 84˚F upstairs and peered out the back door waiting for the hummingbirds.

Dalton was elusive as per the usual (last blurry pic). Persephone and Persephone both battled it out and managed to sit on the feeder at the same time.

It’s like my drive to work playlists are ironic

The feeder was cleaned and refilled… and I think the freak out in the 4 minutes it took the accomplish that was so traumatic that 35 minutes later only Persephone retired for last dinner.
